why is frozen soooo famous? why are they talking about it like its the best Disney movie of all time? The first time i ever heard of it is when there is a rumor about it being in kingdom hearts 3.

Frozen is the SAO/NGNL of Disney films. Not that it was necessarily bad, but I don't see why it is so special besides Let It Go sung by Idina Menzel.

^ SAO equals not Frozen. My chest hurts now.

It's an alright movie I guess. I was involved with a girl last year who loved Frozen, so I watched it and to be honest...its not meant for people like me.

Elsa is kinda hot though, not gonna lie.

hahaha I wasn't actually giving a damn about this Disney movie, not when all my friends pestering me and talking how very good Frozen is, until one day I have to watch it because there's no interesting movies and my friends suggested to watch it. All i have to say is soundtracks are good, that i kept singing them wherever/whenever I free hahaha, don't you just get sick of hearing me sing do you wanna build a snowman~ XD

The only good thing about frozen was Olaf!! cutest character ever.

I don't like the 'let it go' song, in fact, I hate musical movies so I highly dislike it when a movie has random songs here and there.

I just saw Frozen and I actually think it was the worst of the big Disney films I have ever seen. I loved Princess and the Frog, Loved Wreck it Ralph, I even liked Tangled. However, Frozen felt off.

I felt like Kristof and his Reindeer were superfluous to the story. The story would have been just fine without them in it. Disney did with the Reindeer what they do with EVERY animal side-kick these days, they gave him the personality of a really happy dog.

I thought Hans turning evil was stupid. Everything he does in the story up until that point was selfless and nice, it felt like they turned him evil for the sake of evil. They should have just had the small guy be the villain, removed Kristof and his Reindeer from the movie, and gave Hans some more character development as a secondary hero.

Anna was extremely typical as far as the strong willed Princess trope goes.

Olaf was obnoxious as hell. He was simply a mascot character that inadvertently points out the obvious. His song about snow in summer was cool (no pun intended) but that was about it.

Elsa was the only thing I liked about the movie. She was struggling with a condition, trying not to hurt anyone, but then everyone pursues her like a monster. Then when she finally just decided to hole up in her ice castle with that let it go song, I though that was something very novel as far as Disney movies go.

Finally the trolls. The trolls were the stupidest part of the movie. They were even more obnoxious than Olaf.

I swear this movie screams sellout far more than SAO does, and people just eat it up.

I like that it wasn't about love, like the typical Disney movie. it's more about siblings love.

And the interactions between Anna and Christoph are just too funny.

I'll casually say "fangirls". It sold really well amongst teen girls. It was beyond crazy at the Disney Store in London because EVERYONE wanted Elsa and Anna dresses.

The film itself has a lot of flaws that I can't bother mentioning.

But it definitely isn't the best Disney film ever made. The older ones will always be the best ones.

I have to agree with some people on here that this movie had massive flaws and a really bad plot.

I remember seeing the previews for it and thinking that it might be a nice movie to see, after all I like most Disney movies I watch. But then after I had to keep hearing the Let It Go song (on the radio, mind you), hearing over and over how it's the "BEST THING SINCE THE LION KING" and seeing every other Disney post on Tumblr of this movie, it totally turned me off to wanting to see it.

Plus, the fact that the fandom of this movie are total jerks cuz if you make one comment about how you didn't like the movie or whatever, they totally flip on you and decide you're not worthy to be in the Disney fandom. And also the fact that Disneyland and Disney World have totally turned this movie into it's main merchandise products and to be honest, I think people are starting to get fed up with seeing Anna and Elsa plastered on anything and everything.

Unfortunately, I was stuck seeing this movie with my sister and niece when we were picking out a movie on Vudu and my niece wanted to see it. Here's what I did and wondered the whole time we watched it:
- I sat in the corner of the couch the whole time
- laughed at nothing
- found Olaf and the reindeer annoying as hell
- wondered why they never explained how Elsa got these powers
- found it really dumb (for a somewhat plot twist? I'm really not sure) to have Anna and Elsa's parents die in a ship "accident"
- wondered why Anna needed to be kept in the castle even though she didn't have any powers that could harm anyone
- wondered why Anna didn't have any powers of her own
- found ALL the songs annoying, especially Let It Go and In Summer
- plus, I fell asleep with like, 15 mins left of the movie so I didn't even see how it ended (not that I really care though)

The plottwist is startling enough, the animation is fluid and gorgeous, the music is catchy. Yeah, at this point, it's gotten overhyped, but it's all in all at least what one could consider a "cute" and well put together movie.

My dad, being the bitter skeptic he can be, went into Frozen expecting it to be the girly girl usual Disney Princess fare, he was pleasantly surprised by the actual movie. I will admit, I would watch it again, a few more times, in glorious HD now that in the living room there's a massive 60" TV. But that doesn't mean I'm sick of people constantly parroting the "do you wanna build a snowman" line. Though I still find Let It Go jokes to be a touch amusing.

It was cute, for me the plot twist was not that surprising. But for a child who has always seen the "ooo princess marries prince, happy ever after" it might be a new and exciting perspective.
