Seriously. I'm prepping for Thanksgiving here, have a turkey in a hard cider brine, made up some spectacular sage and thyme butter for some fingerling potatoes, and I'm STARVING.

Tonight's dinner though? peanut butter and jelly sandwich. :(

So what are your plans for your thanksgiving feast?

What are you eating right NAO????

What I ate tonight:
black beans and rice
corn bread

What I just ate and planning on eating later:
some pumpkin junk food thing
oreos

What I'm cooking tomorrow:
potato soup

Thanksgiving on Friday (delayed)?
Orange turkey with an orange and rosemary butter rub
green bean casserole made almost entirely from scratch (minus the green beans that my grandma canned)
apple, onion, and rosemary stuffing
corn custard (made by someone else)
pumpkin-squash (hybrid) and carrot soup (made by someone else)
mashed potatoes and gravy
vanilla-bean rum bundt cake
baked sweet potatoes

I'm working on Turkey Day, and I may be pulling a double shift, so, yeah...

We are having turkey at work. And assuming I make it home, there will be pumpkin roll cake.

Mother-in-law is making tamales - other than that, I get my paycheck on Friday. Too broke to really get anything to eat or make

at work. HOWEVER it does not matter where i am or what i eat (snacks), it is who i am with (wife is with me). That is what makes a dinner romantic.
