in my case, she is an ivy leaguer man.she is going to the point in that she is avoiding my e-mails and phone calls altogether and it hurts because she was a better person when younger

No matter how skilled you are, there's only a 1% chance you'll get away with treating people like crap. I hope she knows which ass to kiss.

We all have our moments. But why should I keep in touch with people who belittle me/are rude almost constantly? What, be nice to them for the sake of show? No thanks, I don't need those types of people in my life.

Yes. I myself am a stuck-up snob. It's fine though because I can back up my claims of genius-level intelligence!

I Kinda like the stuck up people. I don't know. Maybe it's just fun to see how arrogant they are. Then watch them struggle to do simple tasks like ask for help, or ask people out. Deep inside some of them are pretty cool if you can look past the cocky attitude.

I know a few.

I worked at a Halloween Express before. The manager and one of the employees were a pair of the most obnoxious and stuck up immature retards I've ever seen. They act like they never grew out of some high school jock/bully phase. If you don't agree with them to a T they mimic you in a mocking fashion. And the employee would always swing things around that could hurt someone. And he broke more merchandise than he sold. The only reason he wasn't fired is because the manager was just like him and they pretty much sucked each others cocks.

One of the people that lives near me is seriously obnoxious. Always doing similar shit.

My dad's family are snobs . My great grandfather was able to give my grandpa and rest of his kids a good amount of money. Some of the members don't even have money no more. They still think they're the bees knees though .

I grew up with someone who has always had a "snob" mentality.

She went to a school in New York for "the gifted" so she feels entitled to treat others with disrespect.

It's very off-putting to be around her sometimes because she has grown to be such a narcissist.

She may have never noticed (or simply forgotten) the burden that her blessings place upon her shoulders. That her intellect does not place her above others as a ruler, but rather beneath them as a servant. Sometimes we all need a little help to get back on track. Have you confronted your friend about this in a non-hostile way? She may genuinely not realize she's doing anything wrong, that she's hurting her relationships.

Sure, we all have are prick moments but when you are like that continuously...

Those are fighting words ^

I have a few snobs in my classes. It's best just to ignore them.

there is a vegan i share a kitchen with at uni, and she is so up herself, talking about how shes doesn't have crap in her body and soon she wont smell any more, and how shes going to love a long life, and always cringing when im making food with meat in it,

but she was always eating frozen pizzas that were 750 calories for dinner everyday picking of a few grated cheese pieces as if she was helping herself,

now shes started some bs 30 bananas a day bs and she cant even manage 12 so shes telling me its as many as you can challenge, no bish its 30! and i know for a fact shes cheating off campus.

then when i went on yahoo answers it just confirmed what i thought, the vegans posting there are just as bad saying meat eaters are scum and will die slowly and painfully. obviously not all are like that but the minority have a strong statement.

rant over.

She tells people that she is a snob or a bitch, then proceeds to say "deal with it"

I believe she knows how her actions affect her relationships.
