Instead, I'm asking you what titles have you thought back and said, "yeah, maybe I'd like to rewatch that series", and somehow, it seems like a series that you really enjoyed bu may have not gotten top billing. (like everyone know fate/stay night, or one piece, or cowboy bebop or full metal alchemist, but somehow, perhaps, titles like Inukami or Kara No Kyoukai might have been overlooked. (note: we're also not looking for the TRULY old or obscure, like Samurai Pizza Cats or Windaria here..)

Other rule? Must be at least three years old.

The reason here was that there's a few older series I kinda wish I could rewatch and forgot, and quite honestly, wonder if someone else caught them and remember them fondly, or other series that some newbie might want to pick up (or at least might be able to find out about without feeling HORRIBLY alienated and new).

Also, if you can, please eiher give a description of the anime or better yet, say why it sticks out in your mind.

Kara No Kyoukai for example, I really enjoyed. Being a fan of a lot of the TYPE MOON stuff since their first anime title, Tsukihhime, I really enjoyed their stuff. they apparently had all these concurrent and parallel worlds going on and a lot of it didn't make sense, but it was interesting to watch a series that had a lot of the tsukihime (and a few Fate/Stay night) characters appear in this weird parallel world series. The visuals were ungodly lush and it was pure eye candy for me at the time. I only wish they made the OTHER Fate movie (I think you can find the mock preview, "Fate/PROTOTYPE" if you search for it). as well.

Inukami on the other hand is one of your typical perverted harem titles. The big twist comes from the fact that the main character is absolutely opposed to sleeping with any of his harem (a bunch of dog spirits) out of fear of having puppies. There's also a LOT of male nudity blocked out (thankfully) by a hilarious elephant graphic. It was just a lighthearted, weird series that really had a lot of fun with their characters.

A third title for me was Macross Zero. Before that, I only really watched Macross Plus. the original series didn't hold much for me, but these two did it for me. Macross plus was sort of a Macross side story, and Macross Zero was like the prequel. After watching it, I kinda wished they just redid the whole franchise. It showed that it had a lot of potential.

I've been watching Kodocha these last few days. It's an eccentric, million-miles-per-hour slice of life deal with an impressive english dub. From the 90's and manages over 100 eps I think. Surprised I hadn't heard of it.

I remember Kodocha when Funimation used to have some of their shows on TV on some obscure channel's nightly anime block.

It also had Case Closed, Baki the Grappler, Spiral, Kiddy Grade, and Tenchi Muyo GXP from what I can remember.

Jyu-oh-sei was pretty cool and I don't see it mentioned much. Planet of killer plants with some very mild application of Norse mythology.

Blue Submarine no 6.
Wasn't excellent, but definitely recommend it to anyone that likes ocean settings/organisms.

Spiral was awesome too... It reminded me of all those Encyclopedia Brown books from when I was a kid. I really wish they had made more of them.

Also on my list: Cromartie High School. They actually had made a live action movie on it, and that's what got me hooked.
