to stick with the 3DS for now to go with the above...will say Devil Survivor Overclocked.i know not all fans of anime know what the SMT franchise is all about(even if not in this specific sub series) but i know a good amount do.no prior knowledge to other games is needed which is why this a good one to recommend..it is a enhanced remake of the DS game of the same name as well that had added a day into the game as well as has voice acting that the original DS version did not have.now for the meat of the game...its a turn based rpg on a grid like map and a short summary of the start of the game...you and your friends are generally hanging out when you acquire these devices and by nightfall demons start appearing in the real world which soon enough results in a lockdown trapping you and tons of people trapped with the demons around.also through the game will be met with lots of choices even when it comes down to who to save or who you let die and all your decisions affect what route the story goes...so it also has multiple endings.

Trailer, the game has been out for years now so might be able to find it kinda cheap(less then $30)

Normal games not challenging enough for you? Then worry no more my fellow group members for i recommend the perfect game for you. Dark Souls, a game so terribly hard you'll think that the first boss is the hardest...but it's not. Mwahaha Dark Souls rated i for impossible.

Bravely Default revolves around four young heroes of Luxendarc: the wind vestal, Agnès Oblige, who finds the wind crystal consumed in darkness; a mysterious vagrant named Ringabel with no memory of his past; Edea Lee of the Duchy of Eternia, who is sent on a mission to protect the world from a great evil; and a youth named Tiz Arrior who witnesses his brother and his hometown Norende being swallowed up by a great chasm. Coming to a week after Norende's destruction in the city of Caldisla, Tiz attempts to find survivors in the Norende Ravine. But he instead finds Agnès and Airy, a cryst-fairy who appears to be helping the vestal awaken the crystals out of their corruption which is causing natural calamities across Luxendarc.

Here is a pic of the game cover. Its for the 3ds and made by square enix same people that made kingdom hearts and final fantasy. I think is a great jrpg and i have already put a good amount of time into it.

I guess I will break the precedent by recommending a PS Vita game. The game is Danganronpa. It is a fantastically written story about a group of teenagers stuck in a high school with Monokuma, a devious teddy bear.... trust me, he is deadly. Monokuma forces the students into a game where the first person to murder one of their fellow classmates and manages to get away with it will be free to go, and the rest will die. The gameplay consists of reading text that advances the story, investigative gameplay to find clues to help find the killer, and courtroom scenes where the whole cast tries to figure out who did it by finding lies in each other's testimony. This game manages to capture the feeling of despair AND hope so well, and all of the characters are extremely interesting, and you will be shocked and despaired when one of them is murdered, or it is actually them who is the murderer. The art style complements the vita screen extremely well, and the soundtrack is very good. The sequel is just as good, if not better then the first. I highly recommend picking the first one up. If only the anime was half as good.

*WARNING* The game i'm about to recommend is very dark in nature, has quite a bit of foul language and has a mature rating. That having been said, if you haven't played a TellTale decision based game before you're missing out! There is very little actual action in the game play but the story with keep you on the edge of your seat for hours on end, episode to episode.

The Wolf Among Us is the first one I tackled, it can be purchased on PC, PS3, PS4, (possibly vita), or on your phone. I played it on my phone and my PS4 and nothing is lost or gained in either platform as long as your phone has a large screen (I use a Note 3).

The Wolf Among Us is a five episode series based on Fables (DC Comics/Vertigo), an award-winning comic book series by Bill Willingham. it is a violent, hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real, and exist in our world. Your choices matter and will change and define the story you experience. There are multiple endings and your choices can decide whether or not a character shows up later in the game.

I loved the Wolf Among Us - was a very good game! Deserves a couple playthroughs honestly. I've done the same with Telltales' Walking Dead!

If you guys haven't played a gem called Homeworld, I highly recommend it. It came out 1996 (around then if not that year), and was one of my first 3D RTS games. It defined Space Fleet Command games in the RTS genre, and has a compelling, immersive story. If you don't like RTS games (or multidirectional ship movement might make your head spin!), you may not enjoy this one.

The premise of the game is that your people discover an ancient ship wrecked on your planet that pre-dates your history and contains a stone with a galactic map on it, and other evidence, that points to one clear conclusion... your planet is not your true home; you're from somewhere else, a planet closer to the Galactic Core named Higara. How your people ended up here is a mystery still, but the clans unite, and all efforts are directed for the next 60 years to building the Mothership, your colony vessel. The game begins upon the launching of the Mothership - it is about 80% complete, but it's time to run tests on the drives and hyperdrives. But after the first test jump... you'll need to play and see!

You may have seen the remake of Homeworlds' 1 & 2 available on Steam. They look good so far - I won't know how good until they actually come out!

If your willing to give visual novels a try Steam is starting to get a decent number of them on their store.
If my Heart Had Wings is pretty good. Very relaxing.

I totally recommend everybody play themselves some Kingdom Hearts. The new remixes are pretty good 3 games in 1 is a good deal in general. Great story (IMO) the game play is fluid and the characters are great you got some original characters, then some FF characters and Disney characters, I don't understand how you could go wrong with theses games.

So after about 15 hours of gameplay i highly recommend Dying Light. I am currently playing it co-op with HomeroHernandez and it is so much fun. It really gives you a "Walking Dead" feel in a sense. Scavenging for materials and getting to safe zones at night is a real thrill that i've never experienced in any other game.

I have always wanted to try these games. Unfortanately, I never owned a PS3 or a PS2. Hopefully some remastered editions will come to the PS4 or the Vita. Also, I hope Kingdom Hearts 3 will be pretty good.

Fantasy adventure classic rpg. One of my favorites. PC recommended for playing. Pretty outdated, but still holds up today.
