Naruto is bad. But One Piece is pathetic. It's like watching a kid have a tantrum in a public restaurant. So I'll have to give it Naruto. Naruto's biggest issue are the flashbacks. But at least once they're out of the way, it'll be a while before they come up again. One Piece's biggest issue is it drags it's arcs out beyond belief making for the worst pacing imaginable. And unlike Naruto's flashbacks, it doesn't go away for a while. It stays there forever and ever and ever. Add to that the fact that it's main story is just about as boring as it's fillers and I don't really even need to say more.

I mean it really depends on preference, and whether you want to watch a longer series. I personally like One Piece, but Naruto is great is the matter of fact that you like ninjas or pirates. I wouldn't say don't watch Naruto, but the pacing can be an issue and the same could be say for filler. I overall feel more attached to the characters in One Piece than I do in Naruto; plus feel more connected. I like the pacing and overall storytelling better in One Piece. Watch the first couple episodes of both and see which one you like better and decide. Just note One piece takes a little bit longer to get into

We talking anime or manga?

Manga: love them both. Naruto maybe because it was my first ever true manga, and One Piece because One Piece

Anime: dislike them both. Naruto has crap animation and more fillers than FatAlbert has cookies, and One Piece is so slow that one episode practically equates to one manga chapter. Both have their epic moments though so I love that~

I've tried getting into One Piece.. it just looks too goofy for me. I like serious stories, and from what I've seen in One Piece, it doesn't look that serious. Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe if I give One Piece another chance I might find that I really like it.

Both are fairly even but One Piece takes the cake for worst Shounen anime in my book. I think a lot of it stems from the overly long arcs, his absolute annoyingness and the fact that 4kids got ahold of it at the start of the series which turned a lot of people off.

One Piece because Oda made me feel for the characters and the villains' motivations were more realistic. Plus their fillers don't last as long as the seasons as the do in Naruto.

One Piece has been more effective at holding my attention, but I like both. I just can't watch series that long together. One at a time is all I can do. So Naruto, you'll have to wait your turn.

One Piece hands down!

Overall it has a really diverse group of characters and not all of them are skinny!!! it also has some queer characters in it as well. Eiichiro Oda does a great job of representation. He also has woven a lot social issues into different One Piece arcs in a way that young children can understand it.
