I've been having issues recently with quality drops during playback. This issue has occurred sporadically since Crunchyroll's latest update to the Roku app, but it usually resolved itself within less than a minute. Now, the quality does not improve after its initial loss of resolution. Sometimes a video will start in HD only to drop down to SD in a few minutes; sometimes it begins in SD at the start and never improves. It's not just you Magical_Squirrel -- I'm having the same issue. All my other Roku apps are running rock solid in full HD.

Here's the results I got from my speedtest:

Same here. All other Roku apps are just fine - Netflix and HuluPlus never have quality drops for me. I suspect there is some issue on CR's end concerning the Roku app because I do not have an issue with the CR app on my iPad. I'd much rather watch my favorite shows on my widescreen though. :(

This morning I watched Log Horizon and the quality started as SD and then improved after a minute or so and never degraded again. Later I started watching a drama and the quality dropped about 30 minutes again and never improved. It's very irritating because I use Roku almost exclusively for watching stuff on CR.
