When he met Chrollo, he asked him this "How can you kill people who have nothing to do with you?"

While in the Chimera Ant arc, he threatened Neferpitou with Komugi's life by saying "The next time you delay me, I'll kill her."

Gon grew up.

It isn't a contradiction since Gon didn't know Komugi was an innocent civilian; he probably thought she was an ally of the Chimera ant soldiers.

IF it was clearly stated that Gon knew Komugi was a civilian and still said that, then it would be a contradiction. (And even at that point, one could argue his mental state wasn't in the right place... he could have killed his own mother to get the revenge he wanted).

He knew that Komugi was civilian, even killua could see that. Gon just grew up and used ever possibility of defeating/battling Neferpitou

No he (Gon) didn't. None of the characters knew exactly what Komugi's relationship with the Chimera ants was. That's why Killua was confused when Pouf tried to kill Komugi and Pitou tried to protect her. And why Killua's grandpa stormed the palace with that meteor attack; they didn't know there was a civilian in there.

But if you have evidence to say otherwise, please point me to the part where the anime made it clear that Gon knew Komugi was a civilian (or even found out that she was a civilian, the only character to know their relationship was Palm since she used her third eye to look at the ending).

Nah. It's either Gon grew up to realize what reality was or he's just a selfish brat that also played the most generic protagonist in a story.

Gon was going through some stuff then... He changed, which was the whole point of his character.

Kurapika, Wing, Hisoka, Illumi, Zepile all at one point or another point out that Gon is reckless and dangerous.

He didn't contradict himself, his mental state was extremely unstable. Gon almost kills Morel at one point (when Morel tells gon to pretend hes pitou and to give him his best shot) Gon's eyes literately went dead and you can clearly see that he snapped completely. The only reason Gon didn't end up killing Morel was because Killua managed to bring him back to senses.

Gon immediately apologized and said "So sorry morel, i was actually about to kill you". Gon's rage was aimed towards Pitou, it can be theorized that the only reason Gon said that to Pitou was because it looked as if Pitou was defending Komugi which made it seem as if Komugi was actually an ally of the chimera ants.

Or, he could have been bluffing, idk it's been awhile since I've read the manga, and I haven't watched the new version yet.

Umm, that is just called life development. Your ideals change due to experiences....And York Arc to Chimera Arc was some major change after some events[spoilersspoilersspoilers].....

People Change, some for the better some for the worse, it depends on how you fit it into your experiences. A positive to take from that, it goes against the grain of most shonen protagonists, Although some could take that as bad I suppose, where they prefer their character to have unshakable ideals and morals. But for me, that was HxH being realistic and I loved that, its heartbreaking but fantastic. When Shit hits the Fan that your very Core is shaken, that's when you know what kind of person you really are.

Besides Gon wasnt wrong anyway.

Edit: ok lol what I meant to say is that he wasnt wrong for trying to kill Nefro, not Komugi.
