So I just completed my profile. I already have CR points and I looked up what they were. I found out that you get bonuses but not what they are. Could anyone tell me?

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-673425/crunchyroll-points

20 points = search for other CR users
500 points = start your own forum topic

Besides that.... they just make you look popular and super cool?

Yeah, that's an old chart, so a lot of it isn't valid anymore... CR doesn't do uploads and let people do subtitles anymore, and crunchyland has been removed for a couple years now...

Thanks all of you for telling me. Also is there any chance that CR will add a system to see which anime others are watching and have completed. I just use the pages tab.

Well... there's always a chance of that, but I wouldn't hold my breath, and they won't tell you whether they are working on anything unless they actually get done and release it. Creating your own pages is one way to share, but isn't consistent or automatic. Some people use sites like myanimelist.net, hummingbird.me, animenewsnetwork.com, and anime-planet.com to keep track of all anime watched (not just here, which is all you would get if they happen to implement anything), and then put the link on their profile, as I have done.

I've tried those but don't like them. I'll just stick to CR and hope

We can only speculate since they never officially stated why... But my guess is that it was a resource hog making the site slow, and there wasn't any associated revenue being directly generated from it, so likely to cut costs and improve site navigation performance.
