Ok, so who else is watching this? I realize that some may be a little to casually watch DisneyXD, but with The Force Awakens getting it's trailer this past week, I thought I would see if anyone else is watching. I have to say I really enjoyed The Clone Wars, so I am going to give this a shot. It was also renewed for a second season October 2nd.

So far, I have to say that I am enjoying the show.

I love the show a lot. Far better than Clone Wars. Not perfect, but how can you go wrong with Jason Isaacs, Vanessa Marshall, Brent Spiner (sometimes) and best of all Steve freakin Blum?

For me, Clone Wars didn't really get going until Season 3, but I also skipped most of the Jar Jar and Padme centric episodes...

Clone Wars had too many uninteresting side characters and focused on them more than the legitimately interesting main characters. Rebels thankfully seems to be doing the opposite, it has a very small cast and they're all interesting and I look forward to seeing them more.

Rebels is ok. when the main characters aren't acting like goofy or trying to kill one another (Chopper) its a pretty good show.

I am hoping they start ramping it up here in the second half of the season with more rebel assignment stuff and Ezra's training.

Anyone catch the finale? IMO, it was fantastic and was full, non-stop action from start to finish.

Love the surprise characters at the end of the latest ep. Not only connects to New hope but the clone wars series too.

I was unsure about rebels after the whole clone wars retconed the original show, which introduced grievous as the badass general he deserved to be.

At least the two clone war shows can still work in the continuity, if you ignore a few minor things. I wonder if we'll see any of the characters in rebels in episode 7 or 8 or 9.

Lately a few shows have started or have another season at the start of October, love it when it's on or near my birthday, makes it more enjoyable.

When they revealed who "Fulcrum" was I did a fist pump I was so happy!

I was not happy when it was announced that the Clone Wars series was cancelled in order to start a new series. I was worried that this would be another Young Justice/Teen Titans Go! situation, one really good series being replaced by a really bad one. I'm glad that I was wrong to do so. And as to the silly bits, Clone Wars had its share of silly episodes and characters.

Do I think that Rebels is as good as Clone Wars? Well, not yet, but it's really early and so any real comparison would be unfair. But it has real potential to be a great show.

I was surprised The Inquisitor got killed off so quickly.

Was bound to happen sooner rather than later. He was such a one dimensional character and he failed constantly. His fate was going to either be on his terms, going out by Kanan's hand, or we would have gotten Vader's trademark "Apology accepted."
