Hello everyone my name is Chris, I am 42 I have been married for 20 1/2 years. I have three kids 19, 15 (very soon to be 16), and 11. My wife will only watch anime if she is tied down kicking and screaming, but my kids have all been bitten by the bug.

Personally I have been watching anime since I was about 7 (speed racer), and certainly don't seem to be losing interest anytime soon :D

Thanks for having me.

Hello!
My name is Tanja and I'm 27 years old. Have been watching anime since I was maby 7 years (Nagareboshi Gin was the first anime) and now I watch it with varied time spans.
I have a daughter that's 2,5 years.
I'm getting married next month and we have a rottweiler.
My husband to be doesn't like anime (or he calls it hentai because he doesn't have any clue of what he is talking about and what I am watching) at all but hopefully my daughter will grow up to a more open person

Nice to meet you all

Welcome aboard and nice to meet you too! I too am married to someone who doesn't watch anime or like it all that much. We've been happily married for 8 years now as of this past Tuesday

And congratulations on the wedding!

Hello, Ben here, 34, single dad (well mostly, divorce is getting close to done) of a 3, and 4 year old boy, I also have a 14 year old boy who lives full time with his mother. My boys seem to love anime, sometimes picking it over even kids shows or whatever they happen to be into lately. Of course at those ages they aren't too picky as long as its funny or there's some action heh.

Hey Ben, welcome aboard! I don't know about your kids, but mine most definitely are picky! My older two (6 yr old boy, 4 yr old girl) have different tastes and very much get picky about the shows they watch. Anime-wise, they both generally like the Disney XD version of Doraemon and sometimes (when they're in the mood) Pokemon or Digimon.

So far they don't seem to be unless there is a lot of just talking with no action. So far they really like Bleach/Naruto/Fairy Tail, and a bunch more. They will even do other non anime's as well that arent cartoon's, Dr. Who, Farscape, Stargate ect, but then again they were raised with them around a lot for the most part.

My oldest really loved Star Wars (which was great as I do) for a while - but then, suddenly out of nowhere turned on Star Wars. Doesn't like it anymore. Claims it's scary now. My 4 year old LOVES Power Rangers. Mostly the new stuff (Megaforce, Dino Charge), but will occasionally watch some of the older stuff when it's on or I demand it on Amazon Prime (Samurai mostly, etc).

Hello, my name is Phoenix.

Yes, that really is my name, I've had people ask to see my driver's license before :P

I'm a thirty-four year old single father of a seven year old girl.

I've been watching anime since the late 80s, and the runt has been joining me for the past few years. The only downside is that I NEVER watched dubs until I had a shadow that can't quite keep up with the subtitles.

I have a 4 year old girl, 6 year old boy, & twin 13 month old girls. Dubbed versions are definitely better for my kids, they watch stuff like Chi's Sweet Home subbed - but they mostly just watch the kitty antics more than follow the plot/dialogue.
