Do you remember life before the internet? I was born in 1993 and didn't get my first computer until 2005. I knew what the internet was before that but it was rare when I had the opportunity to get online. Some of my friends had computers in their homes but their parents didn't allow them to use them except for "homework purposes". I used to read a lot back in the day and hang out with friends. I still remember when we had to take a class in elementary school on how to use Google and on the dangers of the internet .

Lots of reading, GBA and flicking through Argos catalogues for no reason whatsoever.

Yes, I do. If you wanted to find out about something, you went to the library, started with the encyclopedia, then worked your way into subject-specific books and periodicals. I even remember before photocopiers became common--you had to hand-copy the information from the books.

I may be the oldest here.

I remember the first TV show I ever saw was Howdy Doody.

I will let you nerds google that and guess my age.

Nah not really. I've been on the internet since I was like 7 or 8, and I was born in 93 too.

I was born in 87 and I remember accessing the internet in 2nd grade. Of course this was back on dial up and I didn't really think much of it at the time. I honestly didn't really start seriously interneting until I was about 15/16 or so.
