25 in a 50 would be a ticket. They generally have the minimum as being a little more than half the speed limit
I.E., on the interstate the limit's 70, and doing 40 will get you a ticket.

And Florida already has enough hurricane refugees flooding in from Louisiana and Mississippi, send them somewhere else.

Mhm yeah we will get older one day, and we will be in the same situation, but personally i wouldnt want people to bitch about me coz im taking the road D:
Perhaps some old people do need to take tests >_< its like rude and for safety reasons both at the same time

It's a hazard to them and us. I have hit my breaks so hard on the interstate. They go 50 in a 70 mile zone. Then they cannot read the signs and slow traffic to find their exit. I thought that if you don't pass the eye exam, you cannot get a license renewal, or a license. SO how do these people pass the eye exam?

I think after 65 there should be a periodical (like every 3 or 5 years) that they get re-tested

quoting myself for truth

Saying that no old people can be allowed to drive is dumb, there's some older people that drive better than 20-30 year olds. Again, I say it should be done on an individual basis by doing something like periodical tests to make sure that they stay within the ability to drive

Well, the elderly are NOT the only ones who drives horrible. Some of the elderly actually drives really well.

What I am saying, from my perspective, less than half of the drivers (regardless of age and sex) can't drive at all, but they are out there driving, so if we are going to take the license away from the elderly, lets take it away from ALL the other drivers who drives stupidly.

Back to the point, yes, they should get tested on on their concentration, along with how fast they can react before they can get behind the wheel. I don't really have any problems with the elderly driving, unless they have some kind of condition that will make them not performance at their best when driving.

Show me some valid statistics as to why not and I'll think about it. Old people may drive slow but I don't know if they cause that many accidents (like young people).

I wish they wouldn't. When I'm driving on grid roads, they are always around, acting like teenagers or something. Some elderly people shouldn't have their license. They can get crazy.

Either that or they can be too slow. I don't quite mind either way. I don't drive often, but it may be best for them to take tests regularly, for safety purposes. It may sound kind of mean though.
