Feel free to mention whatever underrated titles that you know. For example, I like Herdy Gerdy or Akuji: The Heartless.

I really enjoyed Red Ninja (Xbox and PS2) even if it had some pretty notable issues.

Another game that really had no such issues to speak of but never really made any waves was Trap Gunner (PSX). Amazing game that was pretty much the perfect evolution of the Bomberman formula. If it was released today with online multiplayer I have to believe it would be a huge hit, but instead barely anyone even seems to know it existed. There's a few YT videos on it and I'd recommend taking a look at them if you don't know about the game.

One of my all time favorite games. Simply put, it is a joy to play.

Here's an article that pretty much sums up my views on Vanquish by Platinum Games:

A real classic. Never got the promised sequel though. Such a shame

Speaking games with no sequels, 2008's Prince of Persia title is another of my favorites. It received mixed reception due to a game mechanic that pretty much renders death within the game impossible. I personally never understood the backlash seeing as another Prince of Persia game allowed the player to rewind sequences to avoid death. Also, the way the mechanic worked in the 2008 game made it so that you just restarted where you would have died but without the "YOU DIED" screen or the game reloading a checkpoint.

The game is visually striking and I enjoyed the interaction between the two main characters. There was DLC called "Epilogue" which hinted at a continuation of the story, but unfortunately, Ubisoft has shelved the title.

God Hand. It released around the time of the PS3's release, as well as FFXII and other big games so it got ignored. Great, funny beat 'em up. It will "Dragon Kick your ass into the milky way".

Arc Rise Fantasia is one of the best games no one played. A FANTASTIC Wii JRPG with terrible voice acting but gameplay evocative of the "Tales of" series by Namco and a pretty good story.

Ah! I've heard of this game, which I felt was highly overlooked and can be difficult to find others who've had a lot of experience with this game.

Problem is I have yet to play it, but fortunately my PS2 still works.

Hmhmhm. *activates Generation X powers*

Goodness, where do I begin? The SNES-era DBZ titles are great choices, and Ys can always use more love, but here are some ideas.

Every Squaresoft (not Square Enix!) title that is not a Final Fantasy. Favorite example:

Or, perhaps, the (IMO) greatest RPG series of all time (in its non-Online iteration):

If you have a PS3, you can get it from the PlayStation Store.

Yes. Power rangers video games are good to play too.
It's fun to play with a co-op.

Really great fighting game. You better bring your Street Fighting skills on this one. Each character has good special skills/finishers.
