I`ll be staying at Ochanomizu (Chiyoda) very near from Tokyo Station and Akihabara, it`s great because it`s near the Chuou line and the Yamanote line.

But I`m planning on going all the to the north (Aomori) the return to Tokyo and visit all kind of places like Miyajima, Hiroshima, and of course travel along the Yamanote line to visit Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Nippori, Gotanda, etc.

Hahaha yeah I know whenever I go to Japan I take a lot of pictures then I forget wich picture is what xD

Whoa. Whoooooa. From Aomori to Hiroshima in just two weeks? Sounds like a gauntlet run. I've done them before, but dang. ^_^;;

You takin' sleeper trains all the way out there? Come to think of it, it might be fun to do that once. I've never done it.

What hotel in Chiyoda is it, and how much is it per night? I usually stay at the Tsukuba Hotel close to Ueno Station, but maybe I could branch out a bit. I dunno.

Hahaha Yeah It`ll be a very tiring trip xD

For the Aomori visit I`m planning to take the Shinkansen it takes about 3 hours and a half, so I can enjoy almost the whole day then go back to Tokyo on one of the last trains.

Then spend some days around Tokyo and the next days to travel to West side of Japan.

Also I want to try the sleeper trains because I`ve never been on one xD

The hotel is Mystays Ochanomizu, the cost is about 70USD per night (just an estimate because I paid in Mexican Pesos) it includes the breakfast.

I also paid a rent for Wifi mobile to stay connected to Hyperdia for reservations and all kind of stuffs xD

Yeah I`m looking forward for the trip!

Of course, when I get back I`ll show pictures of food, places, landscapes, etc.

Kumamoto in Kyushuu? It`s too far to the south, but I`ve laways wanted to see the Kumamoto Castle, maybe I`ll drop by when I go to the west side of Japan, if I go I`ll take pictures to show you Ichi-san.

It`s not that expensive to go but you need time, if you work or study then you`re stuck until you get vacation (like me XD) I asked for 2 weeks vacation at my work and I planned since the beggining to spend the whole 2 weeks in Japan.

I am definitely looking forward to your pictures, especially since I never been to Japan. I love seeing any pictures you'll take! And yes Kumamoto in Kyuushuu! That would be amazing if you went there and took pictures Job-san! I really love Kumamoto! The reason I love Kumamoto was because I used to watch a guy from Kumamoto who used to broadcast videos of himself driving throughout Japan. It's sad he retired last week Here's the link to his YouTube page if you want to see some of his videos! https://www.youtube.com/user/nabecchi1983

I hope you have a great trip Job-san! I hope you get to see many interesting sites and that you visit amazing places~

There's a 95% chance I'll go to Japan around September next year for maybe two weeks for a school trip/excursion.

We'll travel around the south and maybe tokyo but my teacher really doesn't want to go to tokyo. We're going to stay with an exchange family at our sister school.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to give a brief update on my recent Japanese exploits. I participated in my Universities' Japanese speech contest, and ended up getting 3rd place for my level! Super duper exciting.

Me accepting my award, and cracking a joke about my speech to the director of the Japanese program at UNCC

Also, to thespiritofearlyeducation, your trip to Japan sounds awesome. I hope your teacher lets you go to Tokyo, it wouldn't be fair if they didn't.

Last week when I started volunteering at the library I found out they had a manga section! They had Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, and loads of others. I checked out volume 1 of Attack on Titan. The anime follows the manga really closely, at least for the first volume.
