I love Chinese films. My absolute favorite (as well as being my favorite film of all time) is John Woo's two-part epic Red Cliff. The cast is just amazing. The story is spectacular. The cinematography is beautiful! Seriously, it's the most beautifully shot movie I've ever seen.

These are both Korean but I prefer Taiwanese dramas nowadays For anything Taiwanese, they are my favourite if Aaron Yan is in it lol!

My favorite drama I've seen is definitely It's Okay: That's Love. They address mental health and how to deal with it while being in a relationship, which I love, since they portray the difficulty of having both, which is not commonly seen in Asian dramas. (Heck even Western TV Shows)

My favorite movie is definitely A Werewolf Boy. It's a romance that brought tears to my eyes. Great movie!

My favorite JDrama is 'The Hours of My Life'. That has really spoiled the entire genre for me! Everything else seems rather silly. Also I've noticed no new JDramas on Crunchyroll since 2015.

Favorite Drama - It's Okay, That's Love. It has a cheesy name like many Korean dramas, but I didn't find the story to be too slowly paced like a lot of Korean dramas. The story and characters were 10/10.

Favorite Movie - The Man From Nowhere. I love tragic protagonists and l love extremely violent scenes. This Korean movie has both of those things.

All this reminds me of "Ikiru", a 1952 film directed and co-written by Akira Kurosawa about a civil servant who dies. Setting aside Kurosawa's other films, I'm not sure that I've seen another Japanese drama that really caused me to feel anything quite so much as this.
