So I was watching random movies on netflix and discovered this documentary call Farmaggedon

It shows how the government is raiding and harassing small farming families in order to regulate raw milk while ignoring the big giant food industry that is basically mass producing foods filled with chemicals and god knows what.

It is 1 and half hour long and basically shows more shocking things that the government and food industry is doing.
It is like the Milk version of Food. Inc and Fresh

So what i want to ask is how do you guys feel about it ?

I am pretty shocked to see the F.D.A raiding sheep ranchers with like S.W.A.T teams just to kill the sheep for the fear of them carrying Mad Cow diseases ( yes you read that right, F.D.A butchered a lot of sheeps back in 2001 because they might have a disease with a whole different species attached to it ). That or raiding families with S.W.A.T team just because they are selling raw milk to selected groups.

actually mad cow jumped species from sheep to cows. in sheep it's called scrapie. this happened due to Europeans practice of using meat byproducts in animal feed. the practice was banned long ago in the us. as the disease is highly contagious the practice is to destroy the animals, which all responsible farmers do of their own volition.

It annoys me (referring to milk). I believe that it's stimulated by greed, with the FDA working hand-and-hand with big milk companies to squash some competition. It's an issue here in Pennsylvania, and the Amish and Mennonites are particularly targeted; however, there's a simple trick that people here can utilize; instead of selling milk, trade it. Here, at least, it's specified that only selling raw milk is illegal.

Ohh interesting.
They never mentioned that side of the story. Farmaggedon just shows how F.D.A insisting on killing the sheep despite sheep being went through testing in both Europe and US customs when the farmer's family imported the sheep. The family apparently even called 3 experts from European with proofs that the sheep have no diseases and yet F.D.A butchered the sheep. A few years later. F.D.A was forced to show the evidence on the case and it shows that they know that the sheep didn't had any diseases after testing but still killed them nevertheless and forbid the family to stop raising sheep.

So i thought F.D.A just had some kind of derp moment and start a witch hunt over a disease that never exist.

I see, yea the movie also showed a Mennonite family farm getting raided by the FDA and other agencies. Lucky for me I live in Cali so at least i still get Raw milk in retail. ( according to the movie )

Show how the government is controlled by their financial owners. You can't sell some honest milk without a cutthroat process.

There's a revolving door between the USDA and Monsanto. That's all you really need to know to understand what's really going on.
