In the last few months there's been a bunch of forum news posts and political stuff in the general discussion forums. And this means that the forums have turned into a more dark and gray area compared to the fun, random and uplifting things that used to pop up here before the political news dump came on to the forums (that I may or may not have helped to create).

Anyhow, let's get to the thread disription

So Christmas it upon us~~ What are you, your friends and family doing to celebrate this special holiday? And what've you already done in preparations of this years upcoming Christmas?

I can bring the fun too. It's just sometimes topics should be brought up.

Meh. I work Christmas eve and the day after Christmas. So all I will be doing is opening gifts and eating too much.

And watching anime of course.

I never said or claimed that more seriues topics shouldn't get some spotlight. What I said was that there's been a bit too few fun and goffy threads here lately. Plus, as I said above... I may have halped to create these news/politics-ish threads.

You're absolutely right! things HAVE become rather dark and grim here! And I love this special time of year.
Please note this post was made in jest, not trying to troll or anything. Use of quote in my spoiler was the keep the images from being huge.

Please keep the posts that follow lighthearted and cheerful

Mexican Catholics prepare for Christmas by praying and eating good food. We call them posadas.
Starting the night of 16/12 and ending on Christmas Eve, they are are nights of praying rosaries and then hitting a piñata with a stick.
This Friday is the start of the holiday season for Mexican Catholics because it's the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I have some lights up, as well as horse and sleigh, need to fix them due to a dog issue.
Helped my parents get their tree out.
Ham and whatever for Christmas dinner.
Most of my shopping is done.
Dunno, it doesn't feel like Christmas.

I'll be having dinner with my parents on christmas eve. 25 december I'll be having dinner with other family members. And we will be giving each other presents the 28th of december, because my sister needs to work the rest of the week.

Just the usually help get and set up the tree. I plan on buying some gifts for the famuri and hope that it snows on this Christmas. And enjoy my break to the fullest with laziness in between.
