" Better watch out ... better watch out .. I'm telling you why ... Santa Claus is coming to town,,, it will take all your money,, away...

For my family, (and I mean everyone) Christmas is all about spending a good time with the family.

- On Dec 24, we all get together, uncles, cousins, close friends, as well as guests on Christmas Eve.

- Each year my aunts decide to rotate in which house we will spend Christmas. (thank god it was not my house, becaise all the young cousins love to make a mess of my games and anime collection

- For dinner, the host of the house bakes the turkey (yes we eat Turkey for Christmas ) as well as the champagne, while each aunt, brings a side dish.

- Add-ons the table such as: Salad,(fruit salad, Caesar salad etc.)Pastries (cookies, traditional sweets from Peru) and of course ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS the "Panettone" which is a fruit cake.

- There is no Christmas without it. or some Hot chocolate as well.

- We gather around on the table, and usually the host gives a little speech to everyone, about the importance of why we gather, and thanks for coming.. This specially for our guests & young generations.

- Usually we are supposed to have our Christmas dinner around 10:PM, but last couple of Christmas people can not hold their hunger and we eat early

- We all have gifts for the kids in the family (which are about 10 total) Note: (We are a catholic family, therefore all children have their own god-father & god-mother,, they are usually the ones with the "big" present)

- Is always interesting to see what type of presents are being given to the kids.

- My old man who is the "funny guy" of the family dresses up as Santa, even though he is about 160 pounds (slim Santa lol ). & Hands out the presents to the little guys, not before making them dance for their presents. (is always funny, and everyone cheers and claps for them)

- We all put the presents under the Christmas tree. Each with its respective name ( ex: From Zoro to Chopper on the card)
- This happens around 11:00 PM until 12:00AM, which is when we all give hugs, and wish a " Feliz Navidad " to everyone as the Christmas songs play in the background.

- Afterwards is party !!! kids dance, adults get drunk, moms take pic of their children with their presents, and everyone is having a good time untill we are tired and someone has to leave.

- Later on, once the kids have gone to bed, and the house is being cleaned up. there is that conversation ,, about what is good and lots of advice's and compliments from drunk uncles, & older cousins..

Since I am fairly young to them (23 yrs old) I get to listen and acknowledge this and that.. Is alright I guess, and take it as part of the tradition ( out of good will they mean well).

That is how I celebrate Christmas, rather my family... But since I enjoy and find it somewhat special, I think I will do the same once I get older.. I don't know.. what u guys think? ..

I hate this stupid holiday. The music, the traditions, the wasted effort. Everything. The only holidays worth acknowledging are Veterans Day and Memorial Day. At least those days mean something.

Welp, I just found out my Dad might've got me a WiiU for Christmas. Along with Hyrule Warriors. And I peed a little upon receiving the news.

I got him an "ugly" Christmas sweater. He looks like this big, rough, lumber jack and he knows he'll have to wear it because he loves me.

Well my family is working for Christmas but today we plan on going eat out somewhere.

And then again I will go eat with my Sisters family on like the 22nd or 22rd but other than that nothing. I'll probably watch some anime on Christmas day.

My family isn't that close so we never celebrate anything or do anything together.

I signed up to volunteer at a Christmas Lunch event, so I'll be doing that.

if I hear one more Christmas song... I am going to rip someones head off. having to listen to it for 8 hours a night at work is cruel and unusual I've heard the same 7 songs by 12 different people, make it stop, OH GOD MAKE IT STOP!!
