Ichigo in BLEACH should've had the main role? Oh, wait...oh...

You know, I kinda had an idea that after the whole Aizen business eas over, the shoukd hsve switched focus and replace Ichigo as MC. And instead stsrt an adventure following his sister Karin.

LOL, Karin is awesome, though!

Another one, if DBZ was gonna do ANYTHING after Cell, then Gohan should've been MC!

He was...lol teenage gohan saiyaman antics...for a short while but then he got shafted by Goku again to fight vegeta and buu.

Haha, yeah, Goku should've stayed dead. That might be why I always think of the end of the Cell saga as the ending to the series and try to forget everything that came after.

Jean might be the only good character in the show, he had actual character growth that was good to see happen.

Guess we just have to see where they take season 2 with the rest of the cast.

Kawaii.

Where is this Sugoi Hime-sama? I hope it's not from some random trash heap.

Minene Uryu in Future Diary should have been the main character. Yuki is just despicable and he made this show so hard to watch. The lead role needs to be a diary user, and Minene is a thinker who totally gets it.

Hunter X Hunter: Killua should have been the main by a mile. For some reason I don't like Gon, or even find his personality interesting.

The charm of Gon is that he is plain. He doesn't have any demon fox sealed up inside him, he isn't some super powerful shinigami, he doesn't have anything like that. His special power is the ability to learn, grow, and adapt. Gon wins 99% of his fights strategically, he pretty much never pulls some OP secret move out of nowhere, it's never a secret ability or the power of friendship that leads him to victory, all of his fights end up requiring that he use his brain to win.

On the other hand Killua very frequently does the shonen 'trump card' trope where he pulls out some OP move that is able to steamroll the competition. Killua is great as a supporting character, but putting him into the lead role would turn HxH into a typical shonen with a protagonist destined for greatness.

As much as I love Killua and think he's insanely badass, I do think Gon as the lead is what makes HxH a unique anime not like the typical shonens. Great point!
