My brother is sick as dog right now because of it. Thankfully, I've never gotten the flu.

When they get sick, they puke, shit and lays in their own filth.

Just to call b.s. I'm sure you had the flu, Everyone has the flu. I gone almost 2 years with out getting the flu but guess what? I got it.
Buy the sounds of it, I"m sure you'll get your brother's flu too. Unless you don't live with your brother and zero contact with him or those around him.

Well if you wash your hands after touching anything and avoid direct contact with your brother you should be able to avoid getting it.

And yes everyone has had the flue at some point in their lives. The two main incidents for people to catch it is when they are really young, like elementary school and some stupid kid passes it around to the whole class. The other is when your children are in elementary school and some stupid kid passes it around to the whole class you end up being the one that gets sick because you have to take care of your sick kid, clean up after them, and most kids when they are sick like to be held and cuddled ect., so it's pretty much inevitable to be a parent.

I've had it once that I can remember. If you've never had it, let me tell you, once is enough.

People often don't know the difference between a cold and the flu because the symptoms overlap.
My doctor once told me that the first way to test if someone has the flu is to ask "If there was a £50 note on the other side of the door, would you go and get it?" If they'd go, they only have a cold. I'm not sure that's all that scientific though!

i remember one time when i had the flu, it was the first time my wife ever saw me with it. My head was in the toilet more than my butt was. she was so scared that she called 911. The EMT's checked me out. I told them what i was drinking and everything. They knew i was hydrating my body to the best i could. I could mention other times, but some of you guys might be eating something and do not want to hear it.

I used to think the flu wasn't something to even notice apart from having to blow your nose frequently for a little while. It seems I was thinking of colds. I'd had cold and asthma for years until I got nephews who got the flu. The baby got it bad enough to be admitted to hospital. I visited, and had him on my lap whilst his mother went home for a change of clothing and a rest. Some time later I got sick. Very sick. That was the first time in my life when I started to understand when I'd seen people moan and groan over having the flu. I'd thought they were being melodramatic. I got stuck in bed for a few days and aches went on for longer. I've found that little darlings pass on the worse contagious illnesses.

I think there are two primary types of the flu, one being similar to a severe cold but with aches and a high fever and the other being like food poisoning from hell.
