I wouldn't care, really. I usually take quick showers unless something is on my mind. Then that takes like 25 minutes.

How do you explain people that has their own pools?

"Oh, don't smoke. You're ruining the ozone." Then, you better stop using big explosives on your movies.

"Please donate." Gets free gifts for being a celebrity.
"They called it endorsing. ~ Chris rock."

That doesn't seem like enough time. Especially if you have long hair like I do. I guess I would get a pixy haircut, and try to take more baths.

Of course, this is coming from a man with short hair, who probably doesn't shave his body.. (now, I don't shave my body, but all things in consideration).. It's much easier to say/do when you barely have anything to do in the shower.... Anyways, I do like the concept though.

Ignore it/work around it. I usually don't take longer than 5 mins, but once in a while when I am feeling sick or really tired I like to take a longer one. I pay enough taxes all ready, leave me alone.

If the goal is to save energy, then cut off power to all the houses and businesses. Saving power by gimmicks is absurd, strive for efficiency and examine the total ROI of your changes.

My shower has a cutoff value that does not change the temperature mix but saves water when you don't need it.

I'll set up my own water collector and storage and just not rely on outside water resources for my showering needs. Many ways to do this.

Easy.

Personally I have a bath, but limiting the time someone can use a shower for is absurd. For example, what about a disabled person who, due to whatever form of complication, may take longer than someone who treats having a shower as a formula 1 race? Personally I find it strange to want to limit how much someone can use a service on their own property. It's like cutting off the TV after you've watched for an hour or two. I get saving energy, and I think people who want to do that should be able to, but for gods sake don't force it on everyone else.

It would seem like many people in this thread miss took my question with what they've done. They haven't done any restrictions, they're only sending out clocks that you can use while showering.

As for my question, if your government enforced limited showering rights upon you then how do you think you'd react?

The shorter the better. You should keep the water cold while you're at it.

I think the concept is there, buuuuut...

I would say they could focus on energy conservation awareness but then people are only motivated about that for like two days after the presentation.
