im okay with that.

i remember times in tucson were you got fined for washing you car. desert city no natural water sources.

i used to live in the desert, so i can see how water or power shortages will cost lives (every year a few people die from lack of water or lack of AC in yuma)

Lol.. nah I took some creative editing.. It was just the first thing that came to mind. I had to be careful with my own wording to avoid getting the same in return..

There were similar laws to OP's, in the past. They are all pretty hilarious. However, there are some patterns to it. At current state where consumption is encouraged with all behaviors (example: "buy product 'X' to save energy) such abrupt law will not pass at any level.
I see people taking it to the streets, politicians getting caught with rigged timer that allows them to shower longer then the Big Bro withdrawing such a thing.

Do we have any pro economist that has awesome understanding of behavior psychology to whip out a skeletal propaganda that may theoretically make the bill pass?

Now that I think about it, my neighborhood would save a lot of water if they wash their cars less frequently and/or have a humidity sensitive lawn sprinkler.

oh you know, they've tried climate models

Oh yeah, Sweden. The same country that bans spanking your children and reportedly has some of the most badly behaved, smart-talking children in turn.

Yeah...Sweden. >_>
