I did an "nslookup", but since I'm on a network I got the IP of the device on the network, 10.0.0.1, default server unknown.

I'm not on Time Warner, I'm on Brighthouse.

Thanks for trying though.

Brighthouse is basically just selling rebranded TWC lines. The aforementioned DNS server change should fix the issue for you.

nslookup info on desktop with working Crunchyroll.

Default Server: dns-cac-lb-01.rr.com
Address: 209.18.47.61

DNS server info on my android tablet without working Crunchyroll.

DNS1 209.18.47.61
DNS2 209.18.47.62

I'm using an app to mask my DNS so the values assigned haven't been changed. I am using a router, so I'm not sure if that affects anything.

Yeah, although I didn't try the google DNS, I did try reaquiring DNS through the router. I got scared there for a bit because the internet went completely down for several minutes after. I'm not sure I want to try the Google thing now.

For those who are having this issue and have Time Warner Cable this is the fix!

Now, onto entering the DNS Server addresses:

Wired Connections:

Go to Settings on the XMB, select Network Settings and hit Internet Connection Settings
Click OK, then under 'Select a setting method', select Custom
Under 'Select a connection method', hit Wired
Next, we have 'Select the operation mode of the network device.' hit Auto-Detect
Now for 'IP Address Setting,' hit Automatic
For 'Set the DHCP host name,' select Do Not Set
Under DNS Setting, hit Manual
Select each number from your selected DNS IP address. It must be exactly what is given for you to connect properly!

USE ONE OF THESE OPTIONS
Google DNS:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Cisco:
64.102.255.44
128.107.241.185

Hit Automatic for MTU
Hit Do Not Use for Proxy Server
Have UPnP enabled
Hit X to save network settings.

If you've got NAT 2, your router's in the clear for VoIP and other ports online games might use.

Wireless Connections:

Hit Internet Connection Settings
Under 'Select a setting method', select Custom
Under 'Select a connection method', hit Wireless
Under 'WLAN Settings,' hit Scan and select your router
hit right on SSID
hit another right on 'Security Setting' and enter the router password (if there is a password)
Then from here, things will be similar: for 'IP Address Setting,' hit Automatic
For 'Set the DHCP host name,' select Do Not Set
Under DNS Setting, hit Manual
Select each number from your selected DNS IP address. It must be exactly what is given for you to connect properly!

USE ONE OF THESE OPTIONS
Google DNS:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Cisco:
64.102.255.44
128.107.241.185

Hit Automatic for MTU
Hit Do Not Use for Proxy Server
Have UPnP enabled
Hit X to save network settings.

Again, if you've got NAT 2, your router's in the clear for VoIP and other ports online games might use.

If you find a DNS Server that only has one IP Address, you can use that address for both the primary and secondary address. These servers are not in one city on the globe, so test out the servers until you have what you find what's best in your area.

This worked for me, Thanks Der Zoodirektor for defining the issue

Do you mean do this through the router? right now my DNS IP is 65.32.5.111 with the secondary set at 65.32.5.112. Is that where I make the change?

I was actually under the assumption that these were instructions on how to change the DNS servers used in the PS3/4/whatever itself. I don't have one, but it looks right. Not sure what you should do with a router. Probably depends on the router.

If you have a PS3 and use Bright House Networks, following the steps Lyokocreator presented should indeed fix your issuse. It worked for me!

Also, I changed the settings through my PS3 for those wondering where to begin.

Oh and this is clearly an app issue. I can watch the video through the tablet through the straight site. However, use of the app results in video errors. On both my s4 and tablet.

It would help if you had mentioned what tablet it was.

If it is standard Android that hasn't been modified, these should be the instructions:

I assume that by "through the straight site", you mean the Flash streams via the web player.

Clearly you are unaware those streams are served from a completely different CDN (Akamai) than the streams for devices (Limelight Networks).

Thanks to you I decided to try my app on my iPad. It's not working either. I'm starting to think it doesn't have anything to do with the device settings or the ISP. because I can get certain videos to play but not others. Currently I'm watching Encouragement of Climb season one, ep 6 on PS3, with no settings changes. It appears to have something to do with the whoever is delivering the content.

Edit: Same episode works on iOS app.

All of Encouragement of Climb Season one streams just fine, both PS3 and iPad. So far nothing else will stream. Why would that happen.
