This is probably going to sound weird but I used to not like painting my nails shades of red or purple. I didn't like how they looked with my skin tone. Now I like it. I paint my nails lots of colors.

Tomatoes, mushrooms, lettuce salads, fish, playing with kids, exercise... lots of things.

There were a lot of foods I wouldn't eat but now I love them.

I also didn't like children when I was a child myself because they would lose/destroy my stuff. My first comic book, it was sailor moon, was drawn on by kids that were visiting when I wasn't there. I guess they thought it was a colouring book? Now I like kids, especially my nieces and nephews, and I teach them to respect other people's property (among other things like baking cookies and so on). I have toys and books for all the kids that visit my place so if one of them plays with the book of puzzles and loses a piece it's not "oh well" but "where else can we look for the missing piece?". I have explained to them that if they leave the puzzles missing a piece then the next kid who wants to play with it will be sad. With younger kids it's just making sure to keep and eye on them and to keep dangerous things out of reach, but the older ones are ready to learn. I usually only have to talk to them about it once and they get it, which makes me love them even more because seeing them grow and learn makes me so happy.

I never appreciated anime as I do now...My friends in college got me into Death Note 2 years ago and it took off from there.

Real people movies.

Used to throw temper tantrums as a kid telling my parents real people movies suck and I'd always watch cartoons and Disney movies.

I was half right, real people movies don't suck but I still love my cartoons and Disney movies.
