Rito would be a registered sex offender by now if this was real life.

So, what exactly do I need to watch before tuning into this season? Just To Love Ru Darkness, or all the other To Love Ru episodes as well? I'm currently on Episode 12 of the first To Love Ru season.

Read all of the 200+ manga chapters... TLR:Darkness is made for fans, not for newcomers and there are truck loads of characters by now that will not get any introduction but just show up and do their part. You could try watching TLR:Trouble, but it was a little different from the manga and was more adding to characters that the fans of the manga already knew. You can try going in cold, but I won't guarantee you'll enjoy it.

I would say watch it all. Motto To Love-Ru was interesting as it also focused on some of the side characters from episode to episode.

Nothing. All you need to know is:

Rito likes Haruna. Momo wants to create a harem for Rito.

There is nothing else that really matters. You can watch the episodes in any order for the most part.

I don't think the OVA is available legally which is too bad. It is out there but... you can watch the first season and To Love Ru as well here legally:

They are fun, worth watching at least the first couple of episodes so you understand the basis for the story. More characters come along but for the most part the fun of the series can be enjoyed without seeing all the episodes. It isn't exactly a complicated plot, lots of good PLOT though.

Well most are in either 10th or 11th grade.

Rito's sister is in 5th grade I think.

Although honestly, for a lot of them I really don't know because they are aliens lol.

Ok, good to know. I'm going to watch all the episodes anyways, but I was just making sure it was ok to watch the simulcast as well while doing so.

I'll get to the manga someday. It really does seem like characters just show up out of no where and that several of the episodes don't have any correlation or carryover. Thanks for the info!

Sounds like I'm good to go then. I was worried there was going to be some carryover from season to season, but it seems like each episode can stand on its own thus far for the most part.

Where does Motto fall in line chronologically? Or does it really even matter? I may just skip over it and get back to it later.
