I actually think Spirited Away has one of the best OSTs of all time...it was amazing. The music honestly made an already amazing film so much better. Gave me chills and made me laugh at all the right parts. You know...it kinda heightened my emotions and reactions to the scenes. I've never had any other film or do that to me...

Steven Price did an amazing job with Gravity
The track "Debris" did wonders in substituting the fear I felt when everything went to crap.

Favorite Instrumental Soundtrack: Last of the Mohicans
Because this is a song you want in your final scene.
Promentory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1ryJDVuZ6k

Star Wars, Raiders, The Social Network, and Jaws are also some of my favorites instrumental soundtracks as well.

Tarintino has put together some great soundtracks. Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown

I also really like Bringing Out the Dead's soundtrack.

The From Dusk Till dawn soundtrack is one of my favorites. Also, O Brother, Where Art Thou is a great soundtrack if i'm in a particular mood.

My favourite is probably from Tarzan. Why? Because Phil Collins that's why.

The entire score by David Arnold in Casino Royale is one of the reasons it's became one of my favorite movies.

On the other hand, there are a number of pieces by John Williams the master that I like, like the unforgettable Superman theme, or Captain America's March which was almost just as good and just as iconic. Raiders of the Lost Ark was really good too. I love how John gives each of his work an unique feel that distinguishes one film from another. Most of his pieces are iconic scores that define the movie they were in. You just listen to Harry Potter theme and you'd know right away that it's Harry Potter. You won't get that from Hans Zimmer's BWAAAM. lol

And of course, there's Alan Silvestri. Back to the Future and Predator for the win. Oh god. Such classics. Going a bit into fanboy mode here. It's pretty amazing how he's able to give such a fun light-hearted tone in BttF and yet gives a dose of badass in Predator.

Danny Elfman with his Batman score was, of course, another wonderful classic. Who can ever forget the best Batman theme song of all time? And I love his remake of the old Mission: Impossible theme in the first movie.

Brad Fiedel is an honorable mention with his Terminator track. Yet another score that will be stuck in my head for a long time.
