anyway,

i was going to rewrite my recommendation request in a few words, but for now, im just going to relink my previous request --

http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-7173/recommend-me-an-anime-read-first-post?fpid=48607173

& im going to provide a few anime hopefully someone that filter out:

here are the few animes:

* haibane
(8.4 rating, only ~20 ratings, so nobody watched it, or nobody rates)
imdb. com/title/tt0380113/

* kaze no shoujo emily

* simoun (14 15 16)

* windy tales

* Shugo Chara

the above were based on a blog's recommendations, i looked through the summaries all the high ratings on that blog

can't find any ratings for the anime list above.... sighhhhhhhhhhh

i want to have one clean thread for what im looking, and these are all draft posts,

Hey! Just wanted to you give a few tips!
Please make complete posts, don't post multiple times in a row! (If you're uncertain what this actually means, please read the rules http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Site_Rules )

If you're looking for rating on anime shows, I highly recommend using http://myanimelist.net or https://hummingbird.me/. imdb is not suited for anime, and very few anime fans actually use imdb for ratings.

Once you've made an account on either of those two web sites, you'll be showered in recommendations! :)
Alternatively you can write a short post here describing what you're after.

I am looking for an anime that doesnt have these things

Yaoi/yuri
Ecchi
Fanservice(As in it is considered a main thing in the anime)
Romance(As a primary genre)

The anime I want is exciting, grabs your attention, good plot, good animation. It can be Shonen, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, Mystery, etc.
Examples that I watched are:

Hyouka(Love how they catch you by surprise when they solve a mystery)
Naruto
Zatch Bell
Hunter x Hunter
Kuroko no Basuke
Tokyo Ghoul
Ace no Diamond
Fullmetal Alchemist
Attack on Titan
Daily lives of High School boys
Senyuu(Funny show)

A few action/adventure/sci-fi shows that meet your criteria:

Full Metal Alchemist
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood (it's an unrelated series)
Attack on Titan
Trigun
A Certain Magical Index (a little fan service, but not a ton)
Full Metal Panic (Again, some fan service, but not a ton)
Eureka Seven (romance as a sub-genre)

If you want to try more realistic Slice of Life, you can try:
Barakamon
Bunny Drop (Usagi Drop)

Could somebody please recommed me some animes is which the main character chooses the childhood friend, not somebody else, and it's a definitive happy ending, not a cliff-hanger?

To make examples, my favorites with this plot are Lamune, Hani hani, the Rihoko arc in Amagami SS, the Haruka arc in Photo Kano and the Conan and Lana pairing in Future boy Conan. Also like Detective Conan very much, but there is no ending yet.
Another good one is Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love, even though they aren't technically "childhood friends" because only met once, but still remembered each other throughout all the years.

Not so much like Ai Yori Aoshi, Koi Senkyo Chocolate and To Heart because of too much harem.

So could you please suggest similar anime series I haven't yet watched about childhood friend romance?

First thing off the top of my head, and it's a bit harem-y, but Shuffle?

But in Shuffle the main character doesn't choose the childhood friend (Kaede) but another girl?

- Myself; Yourself

- Kimikiss: Pure Rouge (if you liked Amagami, you'll like this)

- Love Hina sorta fits (though the manga is way better than the anime, and it is also a harem)

- S.A.: Special A also fits okay (though the characters weren't especially close as children)

- Kanon (watch the 2006 version) and Little Busters are others that kinda-sorta fit (the kinda-sorta is for reasons that I can't go into without spoiling anything)

- One of the Yosuga no Sora arcs is about a childhood friend (warning: high sexual content)

There were a couple childhood friends, and Kaede had a character trait or two that put her in a slightly different category, at least for me.

I'm looking for the name of an anime on Crunchyroll.
It was the story about a girl who lived alone.
She liked instant noodles, and kept lots of them in her house.
She summoned a ghost by pointing a finger on a coin on a paper.
The ghost later stayed with her.
He cooked healthy meals for her.
There was also a dog ghost in human form.
I've only watched two episodes, and forgotten it's name.
Any help appreciated :)
