Somehow I get the feeling that after all the time spent reading manga and watching anime, i'm not alone in wanting to be on the producing side of it as well. So here I am...

I am interested in finding someone who would like to create a one-shot manga with me. I don't care what genre, I am fine with any and while I need to like the story it is yours to mold. I'm the pen you're the words. This isn't to say we won't give feedback and share ideas but simply, your word is law on the story mine is law for the art.

What I'm looking for:
As I said before content doesn't matter that much to me, I can love any type of story but I need solid writing elements.
I want someone who knows how to use character chemistry to their full advantage. I want to draw some emotion.
I need logical stories, no Deus Ex Machina. Well thought out with a less than obvious ending, maybe not a twist but something that leaves an impact.
I also NEED originality. I am not interested in doujinishi. I take my time with every character I create because I respect the stories that I am endeared to and the authors who invested their time, I don't support stealing work in any way.
The actual material expectation is a brief description of the characters, their personalities, the elements you find important to your story and a rough mock up comic, whether you do it with stick figures or not I need your best in expressing what you want to say.

What I can offer:
I'm not the best artist out there and i'm not pretending to be but I do have some experience and put my best effort into my work. I do have some experience writing and can offer feedback, i'm also very easy to get along with. Work speaks best for itself though so here is my level of artistic ability, if you feel it's a level your'e happy with than lets see if we can work something out.

What I expect from this:
No idea. The entire point of me doing this is personally to gain experience and improve my art. I love storytelling in any form, I'm just best at doing it with a pencil. If you want to work together to enter a contest or submit to publisher or put on a shelf to look at every few years or upload it for the rest of the crunchyroll community, all are fine by me. Credit for art goes to me and writing to you obviously.
If nothing else I expect it will be fun!

If you feel like you're interested please message me in one form or another or leave an excerpt from your writing or let me know an idea you have and we can discuss why it's perfect for this.

Thanks for reading, I hope you and me can make a great story!

All artwork is mine and original, I didn't redraw anything.
I have zero preference on genre. There are great ones for all of them so it doesn't matter to me.
I expect probably 40-60 pages but at the end if it turned out well than maybe we can see what's next.

Do you like tragedies? I've always had a thing for tragedies. I could easily come up with some good ideas, but never could I express them. They always stay locked away in my head. I've tried writing books, but never could get them right.

I am deeply interested, however, I do not know how well I could transition into a manga.
Despite having read a lot of manga, I am a complete amateur when it comes to making it.

For reference, here are three shorts I've written. As per request, they are wholly original.

I am a big fan of tragedies. The only way I would hold back there is I feel like there has to be some point in the end. Dramas are entertaining but if the ultimate goal or final wish isn't fulfilled in some form or just doesn't have that final resolution at the end, I get wishy-washy about the whole thing.

I have been looking for an artist who can do manga-styled pages forever. My story is my baby, please email me at [email protected] and we can discuss. I have samples of my characters as well!
