Its a intrigueing notion, the common fact that is forgotten even by the common people themselves; that man is not meant to be controlled. There is much evidence within the world, and yet we retain some odd thought that we must be controlled in order to survive throughout our days. I myself am a victim to this notion, taking orders and missions from higher ups, and yet I still strive for this source of freedom, through encampment.
Interesting.
I walked up the stops to the main encampment, my halberd tapping lightly on the back of my breastplate. I had just completed a comedically simple assignment, which I must admit took a intrigueing turn. It was a simple letter I needed to transport, and instead the kings men had attempted my life, but as I stand in front of the gates to my home guild, I can assure myself, I am alive.

one of the guards smiled at Clara's arrival "good evening Clara!" he then motioned for the gates to be opened and with a click and a long masculine creak the gate opens . the guard smiles with satisfactory " nothing more bad ass than that, welcome back" the guard nods respectfully

I looked at the man for a moment, perplexed by his comment, judging the gates noise that ached in need of repair and order. Rusted is the correct term I believe. Intigueing how the sound of rust enthralled the heart and mind of this simple guard, who most likely hears this so commonly at times. I nodded to him and saluted as riggidly as I had walked up before entering through the gates with my thoughts once more.
up the path of fine cut cobble and up the large, cracked, but smooth stairway into the main building of the headquarters so that I may subbmit my findings, I went. The building itself is aged, and far out of the terms of repair, and yet I vaguely remember a quite loose lipped diplomat assigned here making weary talk of rejuvinating this crumbling giant. That, also, is intrigueing.

Tail

Tail sees Clara approach the main building and dexterously maneuvers her way over head on the roof tops and nooks in the rickety balconies. Tail is an expert when it comes to stealth and acrobatics, she also knew knives like her two front teeth making her a powerful spy and assassin.

Tail lands softly beside Clara and with an enthusiastic grin " how was the mission?"

"I believe the word you are in search for is... Tedious." I said, plain and controlled as ever "A simple letter delivery was it it was, of course given the fact that I had also slain up to a sum of 15 of the kings guards men, I would most definately assume, tedious." I did not make eye contact with Tail as I walked to steps into the building as I had done so many times ago.
I was aware of this Tail figure, but I can say she still does get surprise on me, not that of which she is aware of. I have no reason to look at her due to the fact I remember her face. It's intrigueing, the notion that so many people are so friendly to one another, even though the odds of all of us dying are very, very high. it's, tedious.

Tail

Tail burst into laughter "your definition of tedious is far different from mine" her take on tedious is going in and out without any traces except the mysteries she loves to plant in the establishment..or wherever.

Tail noticed Clara's reluctance to look eye to eye respectfully as members of the same guild or friends for that matter, so she looked at their surroundings with an admiration of its character " can you believe they're thinking about patching this place up?" she hates the idea, the place has so much character the way it is and its not like we're going to hold off any armies because none exist.

I looked at Tail, emotionless as usual, quite baffled by her assumption of the decor as discussed. "Many armies exist. Constantly mobilizing. The only given reason why our establishment has not been found, is due to the fact it is hidden so well. But yes, I must agree, reconstruction would prove pointless. It already has no protective advances for the establishments below, so repairs would be pointless" I puffed out slightly, walking up the stairs to report in.

tail

Tail rolls her eyes and shakes her head "as usual, your no more human than the bark of a tree" she stopped before the rugged stairway and watched Clara with worried eyes, its difficult to live life the way Clara does.

A tree, more human then I? It is an obscure notion to state;wheather being true or not it's implications as to my persona are compelling. On one hand it states that I am not human what so ever, that is, in the metaphoricle term....
while I continued to ponder this inquire, I walked all the way up to the door of the Task Master, a man I'd come to have known for quite some time. He was aged, yes, most likely near the age of death quite soon, but he remained as fuyous as he may have been in his youngest of years. I knocked carefully and let myself in with a stiff bow, with my hand across my chest out of respect.
