I'm often mistaken for being younger than I am. I think it has something to do with my skin - I am an Aussie & people tend to look their age here because of the sun exposure & skin damage. I have very fair skin & burn in 5 mins so I hate going into the sun & have always covered up, even before it became practice in Oz because of skin cancer issues. I have also never worn makeup which I'm sure does damage to your skin. I'm just starting to get grey hairs, but my hair is naturally white-blonde so they arent showing up yet!! So I dont have the usual Aussie weather-beaten face & wrinkles, & although I'm 48yo I'm usually taken for early- mid 30's!!
My lesser half is 54yo but has a boys face so everyone thinks he's in his 30's - they wont believe him unless he shows them his drivers licence!! When we're together we reinforce each-others apparent youth!
I know it's only a matter of time before I lose these advantages & age 30 years overnight, but I'll enjoy it while I've got it!!

Everyone online thinks I'm like 15-16.
Everyone in real life thinks I'm about 16-17

I've always looked 2 years younger then I really am. Just a trend I've noticed and I don't disagree with people, I just happen to look younger.

Got stopped by a cop in Belle Meade zip code in Nashville, TN at 1 am. Until about 45 seconds before that, I had been following an inebriated friend home at 80 mph in a 55 zone. I got out of my truck as he was passing, he came to the first turn around, and stopped me. He asked how old I was. I replied "20." He asked to see my license and said I looked too young. I said "Too young to be out after curfew?" He said, "No, son. Too young to drive, you look 12." My inebriated friend had tried to intervene, but I shooed her into the house to avoid more trouble. Presented my license and no problem. My face gains or loses about 10 years depending on the state of my facial hair.

People usually think I'm older, likely due to my facial hair and relaxed nature.

People usually think I'm younger.

One time I was at the mall with my brother and this couple came up to us and asked us how long we had been dating.
I had to let them know we were bother and sister, they then comment on how nice of an older brother I have to go shopping with me, I had to let them know I was the older sibling, they thought he was like 18 or 19 and thought I was like 15 or 16. in actuality he's 15 I'm 22. I don't even know why they would think that I'm around the same height as him, and fairly busty too.

so not sure if I should be flattered people think I'm younger or insulted they think I'm a lot younger then I am. surprisingly though never been carded.

People usually think I'm older for some reason. In school, when I first meet people, they'll ask if I'm a sophomore and a junior, so then I'll have to say I'm a freshman lol. Adults always thought I looked older than I was, especially as a kid. They think I'm tall for my age. Is 5'6" really tall?

All the time. I look younger. Roughly 5 years younger.

haha i get that all the time. it's maybe because of the way i speak and my preference for humor. people i've met for the first time usually think i'm younger than my real age.

Yeah. The bad bit about me being 18 is that no-one believes that I'm 18. On the other hand my best friend got away with being over 18 when he was 13 years old thanks to his height and early beard.

Many of my classmates think I'm 20 because of my glasses. I look younger without my glasses.

A lot of my maternal family tend to look younger than they actually are, and both my parents are the same.
I, on the other hand, am taller with a more mature face, and am often mistaken as older.

Do you know what it feels like when someone asks if my Mom and I are sisters? It's awesome for her, not so much for me...

I am about to become a teacher (I'm 22). When I am at the high school where I student teach, students and staff from the school confuse me for a student.
