There's 5 kinds of annoying endings:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
*The "we got cancelled so you have to read the manga to find out how it ends, IF it has a manga" cliffhanger non-ending, caused by poor DVD sales or hiatus of the source material.

Examples: Shadow Star Narutaru, Fruits Basket, Hunter x Hunter 2011, Hunter x Hunter 1999, Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Goo, Nightwalker, Magical Play.

*The "rushed sudden conclusion with gaping plotholes & unanswered questions" Gainax ending. & is caused by series cancellation or staff & budget cuts.

Examples: Final Fantasy Unlimited, Neon Genesis Evangeleon

*The "we surpassed the manga & went off in a totally different direction" filler ending that the mangaka decides no to go with when they get to that point. This creates continuity problems & usually calls for a series remake.

Examples: Kuroshitsuji, Hellsing, Hagaren (Japanese nivkname for FMA), Trigun.

*The "plot dumped for acid trip" mindscrew ending.

Examples: Excel Saga, Utena the Movie, Mamono Hunter Youko.

*The "we decided to leave something important for the very last episode, like the character's actual gender" late reveal ending.

Examples: Juubei-Chan 2 (chibi Koinosuke), .hack/SIGN.

Possibly the worst ending to an anime ever.

The ending to the manga of The World God Only Knows, god the amount of plot holes in that ending kills me.

Yeah, I had as well a bad time reading the last chapters. Though, I was satisfied with the ending --I believe I cried manly tears (in the feels train)

I also feel that the plot of Gon meeting his father, in Hunter x Hunter, was rushed; probably because I expected something different. I do like, however,
the direction Togashi is taking with the new arc; I'm looking forward to the new plot

Talking about rushed endings, the most distasteful I've seen is Brynhildr in the darkness. I had to read some chapters of the manga in order to understand what had happened (and to satisfy my curiosity).

To all the people that are hating on Highschool DxD with the bad plot etc, before you criticize something, first (A). Check how many volumes are adapted and (B). Read them. You'll be surprised how good the plot is of Highschool DxD. They have only adapted 4 volumes thus far. You need to picture Highschool DxD as some sort of battle shonen with some ecchi stuff. That is essentially what it is, a story about a threat that's plotting against Devils, Angels and Fallen Angels. You see what the society is like in the underworld and see what the villains are wanting to do against these societies. Along the path you see Issei getting stronger and stronger (atm in the anime he is as weak as an infant baby compared to the current novels). Don't judge a book (or anime) by its cover and looked further into the series.

From what it sounds like, you have only watched the anime adaption and nothing else have you? I can understand why Christians would feel attacked from the first season but the 2nd season starts to show a lighter side to the church (an example would be when Michael gives Ascalon to Issei). After this point onwards the Khaos brigade (a faction that consist of the old Maous, The Hero Faction and Team Vali) are the bad people who are doing evil deeds. Like I said, don't judge a book by its cover, in this case don't judge the anime when it has only adapted the first 4 volumes out of the 17/18 that have been written.

HighSchool DXD manga didn't end though. To Love-Ru Darkness does have a plot: To form a harem so all the girls can be with Rito. HighSchool DXD's plot is about forming a harem too but Rias just wants Issei to herself.

I actually agree that Christians are evil. I rather be a devil but I'm not religious. I believe Religious people to be nuts believing in an imaginary being they call God. That usually gets you labeled as "psycho".

That's what harem series are all about so it therefore is a plot.

A Plot is a literary term defined as the events that make up a story, particularly as they relate to one another in a pattern, in a sequence, through cause and effect, how the reader views the story, or simply by coincidence.

Creating a harem is an event in a story so it's classified as a plot. Maybe you should look stuff up before speaking your mind.
