People have different tastes so I won't say it's weird at all, although I don't like any of the mainstream female singers nowadays, but there's a lot of female singers/musicians I love like Kim Gordon, Kim Deal, Joan Jett, PJ Harvey, Meg White and, more recently I discovered Sharon Van Etten. So it's only natural because woman play and sing on every musical style, from punk to pop, from metal to indie, and they know how to do it.

I don't really see why it matters so long as you enjoy the song. Though I've never had a set genre or artist or group that I stick to, I'll listen to anything so long as I like it. My preference is male singers but that doesn't mean I'm opposed to female musicians.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Any music that you like is cool regardless of sex. I'm not into Beyonce or Taylor Swift but I will play some Sade, Gwen Stefani, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, or Alicia Keyes with no shame.

Nah not really weird. I actually have some of her CDs ( more like stole from my sister though ). If I like the song who cares. What's funny is I drive a mustang with some pretty decent subs, so sometimes for no reason I'll blast Taylor Swift (I'll do this especially when picking up my sister to embarrass her). Just imagine that image, of a mustang driving by blasting Taylor Swift with a lot of bass.

I listen to a lot of vocal trance. That's pretty much all female vocalists. Stine Grove is my current favorite.

I don't think it's weird at all. If you want to play that game then... it's not really any more weird than men watching those girly romcom/slice of life anime.

Anyway, I think it's pretty normal to see a guy listening to music with female vocals these days, but I guess it depends on the area you live.

Also, I actually prefer female vocals, I'm always on the hunt for a good female fronted metal band. I've been trying to find a good female fronted black metal band, no luck yet.

I find it weird for a guy to want to be serenaded by another guy....

I prefer female singers. It seems more normal, for me.

Females aren't only Pop singers....

Personally I enjoy Arch Enemy which I doubt many people will know, but it is a metal band with a female lead. Take notes. That's how you be a powerful and beautiful front man all in one.

I would be more surprised of guys who choose NOT to listen to female singers...

Pfft...I don't care what people think. If the music is good I'm gonna listen to it regardless of who's singing. Plenty of my guy friends enjoy female singers.

Okay so i was watching this dude in a car next to me jamming out hard to some Taylor swift on the way to work......my first thought was ..."Okay??" I then started rockin out with em.... What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think its weird? What would you have done?

Better question... Why does this matter? What makes you feel so weird about it?
