The xbox app really needs to fix its self i dont pay 8$ a month to watch it crash.

If your Xbox One app is self closing itself after being logged in and opening it each time. Try downsizing your queue on a pc, while logged into your acc.

What you have to do is uninstall the app, wait a couple of minutes, reinstall it, then once it says "Press the Xbox button in middle" use that to launch the application and it'll work and the only way it'll work unless your q size is below like 50 or something. I don't remember the number. You'll have to do this every time you want to use the application.

Shouldn't of been a problem this long in the first place.

It also takes less than a minute (two depending on internet speed).

It is just the Xbox one with the problem, I watch crunchy roll on my iPhone and PS4 with no issue or lag, but my xbox one won't load just crashes after launch

Have you tried trimming down your queue to see if that resolves the app crashes?

Shouldn't have to do this. Bug has been here forever. It's retarded how they haven't got the time to fix this, but they have time to launch on more devices.

The current walkaround is to uninstall the app and reinstall, then launch from the notification that pops up when it's done. You can also pin a show to the start menu and launch the app from that and it'll work. Read the thread, please.

Assuming you've done both methods.

You could try launching the app through SmartGlass, that has a chance of working too.

I have been watching crunchy since the app came out on x360. I have had it on X1 from the beginning and have had lagg issues off and on but only this week have I had real bad problems. For the last week I cannot watch any shows on crunchy roll it starts to load a show and then just goes to black screen. I have amazing internet speed with a modem to match. No problems with any other app. I erased local game saves just to clear out the "ram" space and nothing I unistalled the app and reinstalled and it has resulted in the same thing black screen upon loading any anime. Please help I am not able to fix this on my side. And it is not the Xbox itself or no apps would work.

I load it after downloading it over and over and using the hard power off reset and it crashes every... f&%$%&... time. Fix it. Fix it. Fix it crunchyroll!!!

Idk how useful this will be now but if you open it from the entertainment tab instead of the app it seems to work alright
