We shouldn't have to use workarounds or anything else. Plain and simple fix your app crunchyroll staff! This is rediculous. Not stable at all. Very upset that I'm paying for a subscription I can't use.

I Also, have the same problem with my Xbox One app. Mine doesn't often black screen out but 90% of the time we try to watch a show we can't get more than 5 minutes into it (assuming we even make it through the opening credits) before the quality plummets and it lags to a standstill. No problems with Hulu or Netflix and it works just fine in the PC. We only have about 10 shows in our que too so that is not the issue.

Considering many of the shows we love to watch are on Hulu for at least a few seasons I'm really thinking of just cancelling Crunchyroll and using that money to go commercial free on Hulu.

In fact just, started watching Toriko on crunchy roll. It lagged out so now we're watching it on Hulu instead.

June 12, 2016 and this is still happening. I thought it was only me or a temporary thing because CR works fine on PS3 and Xbox 360, but it is mind-boggling and unacceptable that this nonsense is still happening for this long.

I just cancelled my CR subscription, and I'm just going to watch stuff on AD-free Hulu and with a Funimation sub instead. Funi seems to be getting all the best simulcasts nowadays anyhow.

I don't see a point in paying when they can't even get their app right on Xbox One. Plus, they still have that awful opaque black bar you can't get rid of on the top of the PS3 app. It obscures subtitles, pictures, signs, all kinds of crap when you're pausing to see that stuff better, and ironically you can't even see it at all.

mine freezes after opening then crashes back to the home screen. this has been happening snce christmas and i've almost lost hope with this app. I've been able to watch one episode once then right back to crashing.


This is the exact problem I'm having. So from the sounds of things, I just need to reduce my queue in size then?

So for the past few days I have attempted to use my Xbox 1 to watch my queue. Sadly it wont play at all. I can watch on my cell phone and my laptop. It crashes literaly as soon as I start up and it loads the initial screen showing updated episodes. Beginning to become quite upset over this.

Good to see that this is confirmed, guess I need to write down everything in my queue, and I agree about the irritating part, especially when near as I can tell there has not been one official response at all.
