I was not remotely interested in reading a poorly written BDSM themed former Twilight fan-fiction remade with original characters. My Mother read all the books - hated them, said they were poorly written. Yet, she read all of them for completeness.

I do suggest reading at least the first one or checking it out from the library if you do not wish to purchase. Simply because you are asking about it. Tends to say that you have some interest in the subject. Its pretty soft core compared to other books and is an easier transition if that is the type you desire.

I have a variety of books I read and really do try to see what the hype is for books. You really do only live once and I don't see how wasting some of your time reading outside hurts anyone. Any kind of book really. I'd say check it out at the library for free. Read half and then go from there. Return it or finish the book.

I've never read any of them, and I don't really plan on it. It just doesn't seem like a novel that I'd enjoy.

Nope, and not planning on doing so either. If I wanted badly written fan fiction, I can find it online for free.

EDIT/UPDATE
Actually, if I'm ever going to read the book, I would want an audio-book variation, narrated by none other than this man:

....I can't believe I can't link text for some reason....

Hahahaha, me too. I wish that was real. I would also like an audio narration done by this man too:

I read it a few years ago. It was trashy entertainment.

No, and I don't plan to, not even out of my will to tear it to shreds and burn it to hell. A truly disgusting novel.

People (humans) can only distinguish about thirty or so shades of grey.

Nope. I've heard it's really dirty, and I have no intentions of reading it.

Yes. I make it a habit to read books to know why they are all the rage.

50 Shades was basically erotic literature done badly.

Twilight was just not very engaging and didn't strike me as innovative.

I don't know what is up with people and bad books nowadays.

I don't read boring straight sex stories.
