Thank you for sharing, but referral links are not allowed. Please do not attempt to advertise in this fashion going forward.

Ahh. I was looking for the rules if referral links were allowed or not. Looked at it again and noticed an extend rules or something along those lines. Heh. Sorry bro.

A pawn shop would be suggested, that's where I bought Breakdown and Deus Ex: Invisible War 5 bucks each.

There are still horror stories for sites on which you buy CD Keys, including G2A. I prefer to stick to Steam sales, preowned games, 2-for-1 sales etc.

g2a is a grey market reseller. They get their keys from places that aren't necessarily always legit. Recent keys for Far Cry 4 were revoked from various grey market sellers because they were fraudulently purchased with stolen credit cards. If a deal seems too good to be true (and it's not a steam sale) it probably is.

Honestly, I would advise anyone who is so cheap as to use this site to simply pirate the games you want.
I am normally opposed to piracy, but it's better for no one to profit off of a game than for credit card thieves to.

G2A hasn't had cases of credit card thieves has it? I've been looking it up on reddit and besides it being morally grey I've heard almost nothing of straight up thievery

i was under the impression that it was a site where people from other parts of the world buy the games which might be cheaper by them and sell it to the rest of us?

Sometimes they are, you never know exactly how those keys are acquired however, so it's very much a buyer beware situation. The developers and publishers have every right to revoke keys that they discover to have been stolen, or fraudulently purchased, and this is the second major occurrence of that happening, the exact same situation with fraudulent keys that people bought from grey market resellers being revoked also happened last year with Sniper Elite 3.
