If you could completely forget an anime to be able to experience it fresh again, what anime would you choose? (personally i would choose the Aria series )

^ Now this guy gets it! There's nothing quite like your first time through the Aria series. 'Sigh' - memories.....

As much as I adore Aria, I would never want to forget it. I think I would probably go with Anohana - just because it's not necessarily a "favorite", but I still really got to me my first time through. That or maybe Kemono no Souja Erin.

Forgetting an anime and starting it fresh, as if I've never seen it before?

I'd have to risk Wolf's Rain....

....except, the time I watched it, especially the final episode, it was a circumstantial time in my life, so re-watching it from start to finish won't feel the same. There may not be that moment of exaltation, nirvana, bliss, whatever I was feeling then. I was 19 years old then, about to graduate, felt good about myself, confident that I had a future ahead of me, felt complete in some ways....eh maybe I won't risk Wolf's Rain then.

Madoka Magica probably, because then I could watch it twice again! FMA is another one.

Kill la Kill... Its the anime that got me into anime again after about 7 years. The fights, music and insane plot.. It was so good.

Daily Lives of High School Boys. That humor was magical and I'm not sure I will ever be able to find something funnier.

mmmm I really dont forget anime that had an impact on me though either crying my eyes out or laughing my heart out. Anything in between I do forget lol.

but to answer that question, I would say Gintama , some episode of Daily Lives of HS boys and some episodes of Nobunaga Concerto .

I seriously think this all of the time! For me it would have to be Gintama. Just to be able to laugh, cry, and be amazed like i did the first time would be the greatest!

I'm honestly not sure what anime I'd want to rewatch. I think however I'd probably go with kanon 2006.

I always get confused when I see people talking about how much other anime made them cry, people mention air (nothing) angel beats (a bit whimpery but I can hold it off) I get to ep 10 on kanon and i'm bawling my eyes out. Even thinking about the scene makes me teary. A friend whose opinion on sad anime I trust told me clannad would make me cry far more... Because of that I haven't watched it. I'm afraid I'd die of dehydration... Maybe if I erase how sad kanon made me feel, I'd man up and watch clannad, then go back to kanon afterwards... yeah that's what I'll do.

Hajime no ippo

Hajime no ippo is just so glorious, and it hurts to know how underrated it is. Ippo vs sendo title match was probably the most enjoyable fight ive ever witnessed...and this is me taking all of hxh's fights into account. I would pay to experience that fight again fresh, and Hajime no ippo in general.

Honorable mentions: Monogatari series and attack on titan.
