I love rap and hip hop, and all the replies to this thread is everything I thought they would be.
Everyone, go listen to some rap music. It's great.

Can you introduce me some really good rappers apart from Eminem and B.o.B?

Kendrick Lamar and Lushlife.

Try Linkin Park and separate. You won't find pure hip hop interesting if you don't develop the love for beats and [repetitive] chorus after verse then go from there... Most people who like those, purely tend to like rap music. For hip hop, you need to be interested in word play and stuff like that.

Went from an individual who listened to cliched/crappy pop punk, nu-metal yung lad to someone who embraces indie rock, dance music, r&b, and alternative hip-hop to no longer giving an F about rap and pop music since fun music is fun. anyhow I will bump "ignorant" stuff from Rich Gang, any DJ Mustard productions, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, A$AP Mob, Riff Raff, Sad Boys, Chicago drill, etc when lifting and partying even though I prefer for personal listening pleasure old school 90s NY boom bap & revivalists like Joey Bada$$, "alternative"/slacker Chicago hip-hop, Black Hippy, Madlib, MF Doom, J Dilla, Run the Jewels, LA beat music, etc. personally I find the term "alternative" pretentious and misapplied since most of the conscious MCs grew up in the same neighborhoods as their commercial, "ignorant" counterparts, I feel the anime genre term "slice of life" is much better term to describe these MCs.

A starter pack of my personal favorites for the uninitiated

Impressionist
The pen and pad is the weapon of preference
The microphone is my method of expressing it
The booth is in the lab where I experiment
Flipping it, like the good guys punishing the innocent
To try and quantify my penmanship and attempt to measure it
You would need a new scale of measurement
Not enough numbers in existence to represent it yet
Exponentially to the power of the infinite
Different, I explore the universe within my sentences and take you to the edge of it
Matching my impressive wit? You’ve yet to hit a tenth of it
Full spectrum specialist, evade your punch and intercepted it
Practiced every form with the dedication of perfectionists
Mastered my techniques and then perfected it
From panther swipe to tiger claw, southern fist to iron palm
Flamingo stance to scissor kicks, my repertoire is limitless
My mind stays nine grades ahead of the syllabus
Better yet I’m on the dean’s honor list
Mechanical mindset, I put the cog in cognitive
So telling me I’m dope is merely pointing out the obvious
Veni vidi vici, I came, saw, and conquered it

dayum man, rap is just soooo easy

try harder and maybe you'll have a point

Really good I enjoyed it, but also coming from someone who does enjoy most rap I feel like the content (while very good) doesn't prove the point. Most rap isn't just about drugs and sex, it's also about why the rapper is better than you and has more "street cred" or how talented they are and how other rappers can't touch them. It's something that has always bothered me about the genre.

It proves a point that rapping takes more than profanity and a series of Dr. Seuss rhymes with no direction.
But if you're looking for more conceptual material:

There once used to be a commodity called the truth
A rare substance that one day grew to be abused
It was utilized against the youth by the power of the few
Cause they knew, the potency of power within it
Truth reigned supreme amongst the lost and the wretched
They used our ignorance against us to draw our attention
As they proceeded to secretly divorce our connection
Buried it away and hid its existence
Til we had lost the truth behind the message, and in time forgot its essence
‘Til they had twisted our perception and blinded our perspective
For the powers that be don’t really want you to see
They want control over mindless flocks of sheep
So they downplay the importance of intelligence
Pursuit of knowledge is forbidden as the actions of a heretic
Labeled so that none of us could ever come to question it
Absolute power at the mercy of the elements
That we rebel against arresting our development

Plenty of artists that take that approach.

Oh, that rap discussion again.
Guys, why do you dislike a genre you barely know? No one 's forcing you to listen to rap, but if you only know the G's in the game and the mainstream artists than you don't know anything about rap/hip hop (there's a difference by the way). So there's no reason for any hate, everyone needs his own kind of music.
I won't give thousands of good examples since no one will listen to everything. But here's one:

To answer the question: Obviously I like rap/hip hop music. Because I like music in general and enjoy myself while listening to a lot of different genres. Rap is one of my main genres, though.

Yeah, I like a few genres, and rap is one of them. I really like Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks, Kendrick Lamar, Tech N9ne, those are my favorites but there are definitely some others and these are just the English artists.
