Hi,

I live in a country where there are not many shows available due to them not being licensed here.

If I use a proxy service to get around this, but my credit card reveals my address, will my shows become region restricted regardless of whether I'm using a proxy?

Thanks.

Using a proxy server, or any other means of falsifying your geo-location information, in order to gain access to restricted series is not allowed by the /ToS.

What? How?

Ctrl+F for "proxy", "location", "false" reveals no relevant results.

The closest thing is,

>Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any posting or in any way use the Site or Services to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information

I'm not editing any of the outgoing packets from my PC. How is it against the terms of service?

You are specifically using a proxy to specifically give "false source-identifying information".

If you don't want to believe us, just ask customer service directly. Of course, you would basically be waving a red flag and shouting "I'm planning on using a proxy!", but you already called attention to that with your post here.

I'm not personally against such methods, as the publisher still gets compensated (unlike viewing a fansub), but it is against the terms of service.
