It's really bumming me out that I'm not able to finish an episode. When i try selecting the video and skipping to the point that i was watching, the thing is in infinite buffer and will refuse to play the rest of the video.

I am seeing this too, regardless of the show I am watching it will usually skip to the next episode within 5-10 minutes. Really sucks because I am stoked to have the app on my WiiU, but so far it isn't working at all. I don't think its related to the recent DDOS nonsense either since watching shows works fine on my PC.

Anyone have a solution to this?

This happens to me too. Not just on my Wii U though. I experienced the same problem frequently on PS3 before the Wii U app was released. So it's the same but it seems like it happens much more often on the Wii U.

Yah, I really hope this gets fixed! The entire app doesn't seem that great either, i.e doesn't support touch on the gamepad, history doesn't refresh unless you relaunch the app, but this infinite buffer thing is definitely the worse. Also, it seems pretty dumb that it streams to both the Gamepad and the TV, it should be optional(perhaps it is?). Please fix the Wii U app!

But if anybody is having issues with this, what I do is I go back an episode and go back to the episode I want to watch. Sometimes it works.

When it works it does that in the middle of the episode. Otherwise it fails to load any video.

I'm experiencing the same thing on my wii u! I switched to the Wii U to watch Oreimo because Xbox One was having problems buffering throughout entire episodes, and now Wii U is just skipping episodes partway through. Looks like I'll have to watch it on PC until these issues are resolved!

I'm having the same issue. The videos worked when I first got it, but now, nothing loads. This is the pits!

I'm having this problem, too. I'm glad it's not just something I'm doing... I got the app so excitedly and the first thing I wanted to watch on a big screen? Eyeshield 21! But mine only played the first episode about halfway through, and all the rest I've tried it gets about thirty seconds into the theme song. Then it just skips to the next and has the same problem. It's massively frustrating.

CR's engineers are still working to resolve issues from the recent DDoS attack, so there is likely no client-side solution or workaround for the current playback problems.

Mine skips to the next episode after a few seconds all the time. Sometimes the videos don't even load. It was working fine at first really.

Mine does this after a few seconds instead of minutes. Completely unusable.

Just wanted to sound up and let the dev's know that I am also experiencing this. Depending on how the system feels it may be minutes or seconds, but I have never been able to finish an episode of anything, and it's really bumming me out.

Right now I use Hulu for all of my anime needs, and but I really would rather pay for a dedicated anime streaming service. Please, Crunchyroll, come out with an update to fix this issue. I would much rather pay you for what I want than continue to pay someone else for what I have.
