Hello, some anime aren't playing on my Crunchyroll app via Xbox 360. For example, Gintama was running smoothly and fine before the DDoS, but now, it's stuck on a loading screen. The same is happening for Kuroko no Basket, Diamond no Ace, Naruto, One Piece, and probably a lot more. I can watch some anime like Fate/Stay Night etc. Does anyone have the same problem? Do I need to email CR Custom Service for this?

They're still cleaning up after the DDoS attack, so I'm sure it's an issue they're aware of.

Watch 'When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace', that's playing just fine.

Please try to temporarily change your DNS server to a public DNS service such as Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) in your router. That might possibly fix the playback issues on your consoles and the likes.

I am having the same problem on my Smart TV app. Some anime won't play while some others do. I have also tried to change my DNS server to Google's but still the same problem.

Which episodes are working, which are not?

I currently have 3 shows in my queue:
1. One Piece
2. Saint Seiya Omega
3. The Irregular at Magic High School

Both (1) and (2) will not play. I can randomly choose any episode in those two shows and it will give me the black screen and won't attempt to load. For some reason, (3) will play. I also tried to play Naruto and that seemed to work fine as well.

Everything works fine on my computer/android/iOS.

If Google's DNS didn't work, you might have better luck with OpenDNS: https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/opendns-ip-addresses/.

They should just go through one by one through device usage, starting with the most connected device and work down to the least. This is kinda dumb the way it appears they are randomly doing it. I can watch through my Android device just fine, but when I try to watch anything on my Roku which is connected to my TV I can't watch more than 1 minute of anything(when it loads) before getting an error message! Priorities first people..

Just wanted to add that my CR queue will not play through my Roku. I've disconnected and reconnected my CR account to Roku. No luck yet.

Same here on trying to view any anime on my iPad. It either loads the first 1 to 3 seconds (I kid you not, I don't even get 15 seconds of fun) before it freezes up and plays nothing else of the episode no matter what I try, or I get the error message right from the bat that other users have reported.

Changing DNS to the open ones from Google did nothing, plus it's not something I want to rely on since I'm not as technical savvy as I wish I was. I don't need to go break something else when anything else plays just fine except CrunchRoll app.

And I'm in Puerto Rico, so no Time Warner Cable to blame this on. :/

Having same problem on both Panasonic Viera app and Roku with Hunter x Hunter for two days now. Internet is Combat, rebooted everything twice now, removed channel, powered off, then back on, then reloaded channel on both devices; same result. Will run at first, approximately 5-7 minutes of content, then either get a continuous loading circle on Viera app or a check connection error on the Roku.

I understand that things were supposed to be mostly fixed, from what I saw posted earlier, but I am seeing the same symptoms that I did when the DDoS attack happened earlier this week brought everything down. I hope it is resolved soon.

The playback issues regarding our apps are still being looked into. Re-installing the apps will most likely not fix the issue.

I can confirm that, tried to delete and re-install the app in my iPad with no success as well. XD

That said I've been having these errors lately when trying to access pages of the forum in my PC, figured it wouldn't hurt to show it in case it's someone trying to cause another DDoS or something.

If it's nothing major then simply disregard, again I'm not the most tech savvy person around so yeah. X3
