I definitely try to buy all anime I'm willing to recommend to other people on blu ray. It's my way of supporting the industry because I was one of those people that watched fan subs like there was no tomorrow but I was a student at the time so buying anime was a little out of my price range with no positive flow of income.

That being said I'm from the original toonami generation. I remember when it was 3 episodes on a VHS for 30-40 bucks and that was considered cheap.... hell n64 games used to be 70-80 bucks. I remember I used my allowance to try and buy all the Dragonball Z videos and I didn't get very far. Now you can get full 26 episode series for under 30 bucks and maybe 40-50 for newly released/licensed anime(that isn't from Aniplex) if you shop around. I can say the prices have dropped a lot. Now you can buy individual episodes digitally for like 2.99 an episode just to say you supported them.

To answer TC's question I'm probably going to pick up Fate Stay Night UBW when it gets released in the English dub version because it's probably going to be cheaper than the import version. But being Aniplex it would probably still cost me more sense than money. But I already got the Kara no Kyoukai bluray box so common sense left the building long ago.

I already have a fairly large anime DVD/BD collection... adding 1 more series to it wouldn't be that much of a stretch......

so, I'm going to rearrange the question a little bit to suit me a little more and ask myself: if there were 1 last DVD/BD collection I would want to add:

and I guess I would probably go with the NA release of No Game No Life.

I prefer buying movies.

Recent purchases include:

Wolf Children
Princess Mononoke
Patema Inverted
The Wind Rises
A Letter To Momo

I recommend these to everyone!

As for anime:

Steins Gate
Fractale
Last Exile
Guilty Crown
Air
Air Gear

I try to purchase anime series that I haven't seen yet, in order to get the most out of my purchase. Although, I mainly just buy any anime movies that I find interesting, which is most of them.

I'd really like a reasonably priced version of Omamori Himari. Seriously it's like $300 for a Japanese one. Pupa would also be good.

I just started getting back into anime last year, so my collection isn't huge. But it's growing steadily. I'll generally buy anything I'd watch & enjoy several times if it's reasonably priced. Things I'll probably buy this year if they're available:

Cat Planet Cuties
Shuffle
Haiyure Nyaruko
Trinity Seven
Gonna be the Twin-Tail!
Irregular at Magic High School
Maken-Ki

I have to wait for March 2015 to buy the Fate/Stay Night: UBW Blu-ray, after it's another long wait for the second season of UBW. Other than that I'm just waiting for all my pre-orders I did to arrive just to add to my collection. I need a better shelf

I really want to throw my money at the Kill La Kill Blu Ray editions but at £40 each (and it'll be split into three parts as well, IIRC) it's a bit steep...

That means no signatures from the VAs in the book................. Oh well.

Why would they not print that page with the signatures again? I have one from the first print run and the signatures are printed on the page from the printer, not handwritten in each book.

In my first reply to OP's topic I had a link to an unboxing, where the author made it sound as if the sigs were written:

Interestingly enough at the end of the artbook, all 9 singers have added their signatures on the page and it looks like they have written them up for all of the stock.
