I think we're all just waiting for the next big thing that has a run time beyond the standard 25ish one. In my personal opinion, whatever that is will be something that translates well internationally and isn't holding new fans back by a need for knowledge in Japanese culture. And beyond that, I think if the series does a good job world building and brings the viewer to a world that's not Japan (Like the Elemental Nations, One Piece universe, Soul Society, ect.) they will have a big advantage from the generic stuff coming out lately. I find it more and difficult to find shows with worlds explained and explored enough for me to become invested in them. World building can be just as important as character building, if not more sometimes.

I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I feel like it will take a while for a new era to be kick started. Nothing coming out lately has given me that sense yet. :/

You mean other anime sites will stop promoting CR or CR will stop using those examples?

I'm gonna go with "stop using those examples". The Big 3 was apparently only a thing in the west, anyway...

Please don't capitalize every word, sorry if English is not your primary language, but you absolutely do not use capitalization like that.

Also, what "anime websites" say the title for crunchyroll.com and why do you think they will care enough to change the title? Finally, why does it warrant a thread about it?

I think what the OP is trying to say is that Crunchyroll may no longer be the only legal anime streaming site this year. Crunchyroll will still have the highest share of that market in North America and Europe but I can see new streaming services popping up with competitive rates.

Edit: Forgot about Funimation but there could be others.

I posted from my phone and its pretty complicated problem why I used capitalization on every word like that. But I used CR as an example my friend, you took that too literal. I referring to how sites say watch these 3 anime plus more but one would say those 3 are very close to their end and they might be changed to watch SAO, Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure World Trigger and more! Idk..I just feel like times are changing

Mainstream anime will get more attention from potential consumers which is why Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. will always be used in advertising.
