nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and i was really looking forward to absolute duo, no love for scandinavia, which is especially anoying as crunchyroll is the SINGLE legal option for anime streaming in scandinavia...

well if you exclude 2 seasons of pokemon and Knights of sidonia on netflix....bah, ah well there is always the dvd/bd release...in oh a year? :p

Animax had a pretty disappointing Fall season so I hope they find some way to pick it up this Winter as so far three anime I was hoping to get over here on CR will not be available. I'm still confident CR will get the UK some good titles but it still sucks that after four announcements we still don't have anything.

Haaa? No love to the United States? Looks like I'll be going on another site for my show, "Kamisama Hajimemashita" then.

Agreed. The US / North America used to get practically everything Crunchyroll licensed, so announcing two shows where both are unavailable here is bit odd to me. Then again, I think Crunchyroll has been picking up more shows that aren't available in the US/NA in recent seasons. Fortunately, it seems like many of them are available to us elsewhere. For example, Kamisama Hajimemashita is on Hulu as Kamisama Kiss, and I'm expecting the second season to show up there since the first season did. Actually, most of what Funimation licenses ends up on Hulu, IIRC.

How do you think we UK guys feel? We don't even have Funi or Hulu to fall back on. We do have Animax and Netflix but they get practically nothing besides a few diamonds like Ping Pong,Magi and Steins;Gate.

We from Scandinavia and the UK should make our own streaming site with blackjack and hookers! :'c

Bah, disappointed that Magic Kaito is only US and Canada, but shouldn't be surprised I guess. Disappointing season so far indeed for the UK, with Funimation gobbling up so much that will be unavailable for us. Oh well.

*Sees "Magic Kaito" in the thread title...*

Oh heck y-...!

*not available for Latin America*

D'awwww.... Oh well at least another Funi show got added here for Latin America (even though the only Funi show that has my attention is The Rolling Girls), and hopefully more come over. Thanks for your services up till now anyway

This irritates me quite a bit. Is Funimation getting the English rights to Absolute Duo? If not, then why is it not available to the US?

Edit: Never mind, I just saw on Funi's website that it is being simulcasted by them.

So us UK subscribers are currently scoring well, with a cool zero percent of new shows available to us. A new record.

Impressive work CR, you have outdone yourselves.

My guess money & patience for a certain amount of legal anime apparently, if you live in a country outside US and Canada. We're on the same boat if that's the case (though at least one can still stream a pretty good amount of shows in Latin America so far in my case).
