Actually, I have. lol

I mentioned in your thread that I have a high EQ, so I understand almost perfectly what is expected out of straight men. I often joked (inside my head of course, I would never tell my silly thoughts to the outside world) that I was lucky to be born gay... nobody expects me to be macho.

Hmm. Unless you're one of those macho super-hairy bear-like ones.

That reminds me of when I was playing GTA4 back in 2010 and there was this gay dude you have to support on some missions. I didn't like him on the first mission, though; he was going for a jog through Central Park (whatever it's called in GTA) and taunting me like "Sloooow-pooooke!" and if I got closer he said "I don't know you!" and I'm thinking "God damn it make up your mind." Then he got attacked by some mugger, who proceeded to call me a "fag-lover" and that set me off. I ended him quickly.

But still, yeah; you're right. I'm not gay, so I can never understand what it's like to be treated by others. I went through my own persecution growing up, but it's still very different from what gay persecution is like. Homosexuality is still something very alien to a lot of people, and it continues to remain a black-and-white issue; what I mean by the latter is that people will conclude that you either love them or absolutely hate them so much that you want them wiped off the face of the earth, and that if you prefer one side you condemn the other. Meaning, in my case, because I'm preferential to watching women making out, that means I curse men making out with every fiber of my being....which is a load of BS. Just because I don't like to see big strong men making out doesn't mean I go on a tirade and want them killed or anything. Plus, personally, I think the female form is more beautiful than the male form. Sadly for me, though, a few have responded to me by denouncing me as a pervert.

Anyway.....that .GIF; I still need to see that movie. I keep hearing nothing but good things about it.

Agreed with what you said, not many people are self-analysing like you are, I think that's the main problem. Not that I'm bothered by people's treatment or whatever, i've never been affected by seclusion and discrimination; i've always been the curious person who wonders why people act a certain way (towards me), and I like knowing the reasons why.

Frozen; it's quite a funny movie especially the interaction between Anna and the reindeer guy. But it's not ocean deep, and there are too many musical numbers, in other words, it's perfect for kids and the whole family. Having said that, I'm going to watch it again.

I don't believe in gender, so..I don't believe "things" are feminine or masculine. To me its all nonsense, just another way humans have created to put others into a box, or limit experiences. As a "girl" I don't see anything wrong with doing what makes ya happy as along as its hurting no one.

I agree with you. Gender is nothing but a construct based on biological sex, so I'm inclined to agree with you on that. As a related construct masculinity and femininity exist only in collective consciousness, but as far as the limited context of pop culture it exists. Its an oppressive system for men and women, but there isn't much that can be done about it except to either work within it to change it or to go outside of it and ignore it, whichever works.

I was so worried by my comment, but I have seen too much and thought a lot about it and you are right. It is an oppressive system, but there will always be some humans who gain comfort within the system..like all systems. But sometimes its hard to ignore when you are on the front lines, its a war for real.

It's called balance, everybody is both feminine and masculine in separate but also relatable ways. Though in physical terms some can be "leaning towards one side or the other" but there's no testosterone only dependent man. Hormones induce what is known as feminine or masculine so it depends on genetics mainly but also many other factors could play a part.

Lol I do a fair amount of feminine things. However, I really wouldn't consider anything "feminine" or "masculine". I also like to groom myself until I sparkle.

I think it's cute and endearing, especially when he knows how to cook I cannot cook for the life of me...
