Hey,

So I have no idea if anything here ever gets looked at. I've not really been active in the forums so don't know what to expect.

Currently the homepage quickly and easily shows when shows generally broadcast. This can be seen in this screenshot:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking at this I can know when new episodes should release, which is useful in two situations.

1. The case where I want to just see when episodes are generally released without jumping onto the show page

2. The case where I want to guess when the next episode will be, but the new countdown hasn't started.

So what I'm suggesting is that this also be added to the queue, as this is where I keep the shows I'm currently interested in:

As can be seen I've suggested two places the time can be added in the current layout without having to change much.

It's only a small QoL change, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.

Tell me what you think!

Would definitely be a "nice to have". In the meantime though, consider rearranging your queue in release time order (my preference) instead of alphabetical order or something else. It takes a week or two to get it right at the beginning of each season, but then after that it's set.

With it ordered that way, I also go into my queue every night after everything has aired, hover over the arrow by the bottom entry and one at a time pop the shows for the next day to the top click, click, click, without having to move the mouse. Not a big deal if you watch exclusively on PC, I guess, but for devices like Roku, android, etc, I then have the next day's shows all ready to play right on the top of the list when I start the app.

Ordering by release is a nice idea, thanks.

But I realized I could make a Greasemonkey userscript that could do this for me.

For those that don't know what that is, you can get an extension for Firefox called greasemonkey: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

Once installed you can install userscripts. My script can be found at: https://gist.github.com/Pluckerpluck/155d70f830070e39d65b .

You can directly install it into greasemonkey by clicking the "Raw" button or using the following link:

There are similar things for Chrome, and my script may also work for them, or it may need tweaking.

Basically what this does is grabs the latest episode of each show and sees when it will be published. It then guesses that this is the normal day and time for the show and sticks it in small text next to the queue. It will use the timezone of your PC.

Here's an example:

As you can see it's not perfect (it's putting a show date on REBORN!), but it tends to work on shows that are currently running.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thought I'd share it (I threw in the timezone thing just for that reason), given that I'd written it for myself.
