lol, what?

This is a serious question?

Korra is the shittiest Avatar ever, she gets her ass kicked every single time it's pathetic.

This.

My vote goes to Aang in a big way.

Korra had to take care of a lot more crap in her series than Aang, also Aang had to deal with the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Kingdom from breaking out into a war right after the events of the series in his comic, something that was indirectly caused by him so using that same argument for Korra is meaningless.

However, I'd say Aang was a more enjoyable character, but he wasn't a better avatar.

So:
Character: I'll go with Aang
Avatar: Korra easily, I don't really care that she decided to go bisexual on us, I'm just pissed MakoxAsami couldn't happen after they teased it again in season 3.

Uh.....what, Aaang indirectly caused a conflict while Korra directly caused the conflicts for the majority of seasons, does not compare.

It's not meaningless...they're pretty different tbh.

For season 2 sure she had some direct involvement in causing the conflict mainly by being duped. But how did she directly cause the conflicts for Season 3 and 4? Choosing to leave the spirit portals open granting certain people airbending abilities one who just happens to be an anarchist and whom goes on and brings chaos to the Earth Kingdom which leads to a Nazi like regime rising to power in season 4 is not direct involvement.

I think Korra is the stronger one because she had a psychological journey of finding herself, fought Vaatu, find Raava within herself etc

Korra accomplished quite a bit as the avatar. She stopped a rebellion from tearing a city apart, stopped a civil war between the Southern and Northern Water Tribes, Defeated the embodiment of all chaos/evil, leaving the spirit portals open which lead to the return of the Airbenders, Fought a group of anarchists while poisoned with mercury, and helped end a new Earth Empire's pursuit of conquest with a giant mech mounted with a super laser cannon. Oh yeah and opened up a new spirit portal. That is quite the resume in terms of Avatar accomplishments.

Aang accomplished stopping the fire nations advance on the northern water tribe, destroyed a giant drill, ending the 100 Year War, learning spirit bending, establishing Republic City, youngest Airbending master(not sure about this one).

All in all I'd say Korra is the more accomplished Avatar.

I think I'd agree with this for the most part.

Though, Korra did start a lot more problems than Aang did, but she did resolve them.

She got duped by the same type of person she was facing in the prior season, that was just dumb on her part.

Yes it is because she is the one who directly gave Zaheer his powers. But if you still want to say it's indirect, than still she was much more involved in those than Aaang ever was in the problem he caused. Honestly I think people could have lived without Air bending, the cost was too great. And she did pay the price.

I disagree about the cost being too great if the world could recover from 100 years of war with the Fire Nation I think it could recover from 3 years of conflict from the Earth Nation especially if it meant bringing back the Airbenders and having the Earth Kingdom turn into a Constitutional Democracy which hopefully will end the corruption in Ba Sing Se but who knows that place will probably always be corrupt it's like the Gotham of the Avatar universe.

Indirect nothing. How in the hell was she suppose to expect that the portals would give people air bending? To want degree should she have expected her decision to have lead to anything like what happened? The 2 things she could somewhat reasonably worry about are spirits being huge jerks, and the material world getting trippy..

Also while what she did in season 2 was blame worthy, how was she suppose to she Vatuu coming?
