Yes you can. The US PSN Card is just clarifying the prize and what region of PSN Card it is.

Somewhere during the Christmas of 2008, my older brother bought me a PS2 with Final Fantasy X. I was 11 at the time and I was just getting into RPGs. I didn't get along well with my brother, so I wasn't really fond of him being around me. It was annoying to have him watching me play the game and nagging me about what I was doing wrong all the time. I just wanted to enjoy the freakin game but he would take over every time I messed up lol. But we did have good times playing the game too while I would look up guides online and help him out. Though, I thought he was being such a nuisance, it was great that he thought to get me a PS2 and wanted to play with me. My family always perseveres.

My fondest memory of Playstation? It's pretty tough to pick one but rules are rules lol.

My fondest memory has to be when I played Dark Cloud on PS2. I just bought my PS2 as a child and only had a choice of two games, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec or Dark Cloud. As a kid, I was always into adventure games so I decided to go with Dark Cloud since it's cover art was ominous yet cool looking. I got home, plugged in my brand-new PS2 and loaded up Dark Cloud. From that moment on, I've always wanted to replay Dark Cloud over and over again. That has to be my fondest memory because it was my first time playing a Playstation 2, and was introduced to the world of Playstation.

Here's the Cover Art for people who haven't heard of Dark Cloud (Fun Fact: It was developed by the same people who made Ni No Kuni, which was a nice game as well.)

When I was a child me and by brothers always fought. My dad decided one year for Christmas he would buy us a ps1 (they where New at the time).

What he ultimately did was buy me a playstation 1
Bought my younger brother 2 controllers
And bought my youngest brother 2 games (bugs life & roadster).

I remember spending many days arguing with each other while playing video games in my room lol.

Vashtor,

My fondest memory of Playstation.

I remember the day I first recieved my Playstation 2. It was Christmas Morning and my Mom brought the Wrapped up Mystery to me. (I recieved one present for my earlier years on Christmas simply because we didn't have very much money and my mom had lost her husband. My Dad.) I recall the excitement of seeing how big the present was and the overwhelming joy of unwrapping it to a slick(pre-owned) silver PS2. Oh, the tears of happiness that day. ^-^

But yeah, that's probably got to be my fondest memory of Playstation pretty much ever. My grandfather had bought me a couple of games the following day so that was great.

Sorry it's super long!!!!!
Edit-I fixed grammatical errors.

I've had my PS3 for about 5 years now. Of course, you can make some friends online. Some who you enjoy your moments with, but a few you stick with you for the long run. I've made various friends on PSN but there's one who I cherish everyday.

(Just to specify, I'm a guy. This story is about a girl I met. Both currently in high school.)
I was on little big planet 2, trying to ace the entire story (beat a level with with respawning.) I got a notification of a random player who was trying to join my game. I like to meet new people so I let them join. Instead of just playing together for a few levels, we ended playing for several hours. From about 8 pm to 4 am. I sent them a friend request and they happily accepted. After two years of talking to each other, I'd realized I had grown feelings for her. We were both in relationships with other people at the time, but not that happy with them. As we were using instant messaging, we're talking about anime and I said how I liked brunettes over blonds, in real life and with characters. She instantly responded with a reaction, similar to when in a harem, someone says their type, and the other person has a spontaneous reaction of happiness but didn't mean to show it so they blush, hide their face, stay quiet, etc. Eventually, we somehow revealed we liked each other. It gave us the push to leave our current relationships at the time. We had started dating. (We were hiding our relationship, her mom didn't like the idea of her dating so she kept her relationships a secret from her family.)
I wasn't used to long distance relationships but I was willing to give it a try. About 2 months into dating, an incident occurred and I didn't receive a single message from her the whole weekend. I'd finally gotten message from her explaining that on that Friday she didn't reply, her ex boyfriend came to visit her. She had snuck out with him to talk and ended up cheating on me with him. It ended up getting police involved since her ex was a much older age than her.
I was heart broken, depressed, furious. I had really cared for and I was treated with this. She had said she was now grounded but we could still be friends and how I was great and stuff. I couldn't think of any reply so all I said was,
"bye."
That one word, nothing else. And it hit her, emotionally at the peak. I eventually thought it over and had realized that I would need to get over it. I eventually wrote back saying I still would want to continue being friends since she was/is my best friend. She said she was sorry, and regretted what she had done. Explaining that she really cared for me and that she made a big mistake.
Three months later, she was ungrounded. She had messaged me saying how she missed spending time with me and had been looking forward to playing games with me. I had told her that I'd like to spend time with as well with her. I went open with her, I was still upset with her, I didn't have much feelings for her either after what occured. She said she fully understands how I felt, and she can't disagree with me. She said she loved me though, that she regret it all. She wanted to make it up to me, for everything that occured. Every message that she sent after saying goodnight, she'd put "I love you." I didn't say it back, I was to scared to fall for her, with the fear of being heart broken again.
My birthday had come up, and my parents set up a big party for me, inviting tons of my family. I got a message saying how her mom had found out we dated. And that her mom was happy that I stayed friends with her. Saying how, "You better appreciate him, that's a very kind thing he did for you after what you did." My friend had said as well on my birthday that she wanted to make it all up to me if I'd give her another chance. She want to show my parents that she loved me, to accept her, and let me fall for her. To show that I could fall in love with her and not have to worry about anything else, that I could fully trust her and forgive her. I decided that I wouldn't date her, yet. Not until it was okay with her mom for her to date. Eventually, I asked her mother for permission to date her daughter. After, I asked my friend to my girlfriend. She responded with a definite yes. Since then, we've been dating for more than a year, 19 months on January 3rd.

Since we started dating we have met in real life three times now. I've visited her family twice and she just recently stayed with family. This the story that I've told. The Tale of this development between two people. (We're staying playing on our PS3's!)
If people want, I can include a picture of us for proof and just because. ^^

I can't use the card since I have a canadian PSN account but feel like sharing my story anyway lmao....but this is cool of you to do Vashtor. Although my gaming life started with Nintendo and dominant with sega genesis, Playstation 1 is where my real love for gaming truly began. since im not entering, ill keep it short....lets just say, now I'm almost realizing my goal of being part of a game dev team (I focus on the programming and level design aspect), and PSX is where all that desire started from lol. So yay Playstation! lol just thought i'd share it anyway.

the stories you folks are posting are pretty cool.

Basically, I played with barbie dolls and watched Dora the Explorer with my sisters. I had always been bored... but after having a nintendo 64, and it broke pretty quickly, I figured out why I was bored. I wanted the action that comes in video games. So, after a few years, my dad got my brother a ps2 for Christmas and told him to share. So, I played with him in Crash Nitrocart, Pacman, and Modern Warfare, as well as my 1st game I soloed, Ghost Recon. And that eventually grew to a love of all male-directed entertainment, such as ninja turtles, johnny test, danny phantom, etc. Then that evolved to me becoming an otaku when I watched my 1st anime, Ponyo. (how I got to like anime after watching Ponyo i have no clue... though Sailor Moon was my first anime series I watched).

Basically, without the PS2, I'd be stuck in a land with frilly things and I'd be stuck trying to figure out why I'm so bored all the time. :3

(I still like the playstation, but now I much prefer the xbox360 'cuz of all the assassin's creed games)

The first game I I was ever addicted to was Final Fantasy 7. My brother-in-law went out of his way to spend 57 dollars to get the only copy in town (this was early 2009). I spent so many hours trying to fight the Midgar Zolom, Days playing in the Gold Saucer, weeks trying get Vincent and Yuffie in my party and months trying to resurrect Aerith.

hmmm, well i got into the playstaion craze quite late in my life, i grew up on the NES SNES and the sega dreamcast

but i'll never forget this one moment:

Christmas day, at my grandma's house ~~ 15 hour drive from where i lived at the time, no clue on what im going to be getting when BOOM, i opened a PS2 Slim, and one game, this game i have never heard of before and looked quite interesting, i didnt know what i was getting into but holy, it was a ride

Celebrity Deathmatch

this game was violent, had some fairly interesting words occasionally, and you could PLAY AS A FREAKING WEREWOLF AND URINATE ON YOUR ENEMIES

short story short, it was quite amusing trying to explain to my elderly grandmother just what the heck was going on

advance lots of years to the future, and now here i am, ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, psp, psv, psp2000, pspgo

i promise im not a fanboy guys

back in 2010, my cousin introduced me to a very unknown game to me. known as dead space 1 for the playstation 3. he let me borrow the game and finally decided to play it. back then i wasn't really expecting this game to be as good as it is to this day. there weren't many games that caught my attention at all. every night for a couple of months i would play it and every single thing during the game would scare the shit out of me. the horror that the game had would scare me to the point where i would have nightmares of me being in that scenario. and every time i started the game and would see the menu screen, i'd be so hesistant to where i wouldn't want to play it. no other game has ever kept me up thinking about shit like that. it was like i found the ultimate horror game. since then, I've played dead space 2 & 3 for the ps3 and have gotten the same results from it. it is definitely one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life. so much that i even started collecting as much memorabilia as possible. it truly was one the best times I've ever had with the ps3.

I have my PSN ID account. My PSN ID name is PersonaSquadron which is named after SMT: Persona series and well as military air force due to dreaming about making combat flight simulation game and writing down the military novel when I saw Another Century's Episode 3: The Final the Japanese-only PS2 game. My first PS1 game I've played is the Twisted Metal 2, but I think I played the demo version was the wrestling game before my big brother purchased PS1 console system and Twisted Metal 2.
