Just got a more modern Android phone [from a windows phone] and I see there are quite a few visual novels in the play store. Anyone have a recommendation on any of them? Looking for a free one and preferably one with some romance in it. Especially something where my choice impacts the outcome of the story that sort of thing. Thanks!

I think I only checked out a few on the phone.

Narcissu is on Google Play and Steam.
It's not the best but it was pretty decent in my opinion.

You can get some VNs working on tables. I've got Fate and Katawa Shoujo working on my Nexus7. I couldn't tell you how to do a phone.

There are ways to get VN's to work on android but I was hoping there'd be some native in english Android ones that I didn't have to mess around with to get working :-).

Not that many that I've found. Let's see... Sepia Tears is a nice short one. Lily's Day Off is quite absurd. Check out the ones by Winter Wolves, they have Android versions as well as PC versions. Rising Angels Reborn.

Tears 9,10 is a great one on iOS, no idea if it's on Android.

For Lily's Day Off & Sepia Tears - what are they like? As in, do we have nudity, ecchi, etc? Trying to judge what it's about as I'm curious now, but looking for something with 0 nudity.

Sepia Tears is romantic, no ecchi or nudity. Lily's Day Off has many very short (~15 minutes), bizarre routes. More of a parody of visual novels.

I admit, I have been wondering the same things about Android, but I have noticed that many of the VNs are also available for PC via Steam, so ... decisions, decisions. I can vouch for the Winter Wolves games, in particular.
